these aren't for your top end audio enthusiast, but they will most likely be an upgrade from a plain jane oem speaker. decent magnet and driver setup, being dedicated 4-way is nice and alloys for a good range of frequency. these are going to rattle the truck, and won't compete with top tier aftermarket. i feel like there's a level below top tier as well, and that would probably include some more familiar car stereo brand names, i like these in just below that... but still very respectably middle of the road. i actually got these for to replace the factory ceiling mounted speakers in my camper. they are a cheap thin paper cone, with hardly a magnet. these are a huge upgrade there, and for a very very reasonable price. don't let me saying there are tiers above discourage you, i'm not trying to discredit them. just set a reasonable expectation, and there aren't enough stars available to really distinguish good enough

Sound is good with clean power. Decent low end and clear highs. Wouldn't try pushing the recommended power limits. If you keep to the power limits and give them clean power they will definitely get the job done.

That's about all you can expect from these speakers is a good factory replacement. Yes they do found better than most stock speakers but not by much. They are not really a 5 way as two of the high frequency drivers are nothing. No magnet or wires connected to them. So the high frequencies are a little lacking. Bass is ok but gets distorted at medium volumes. Midrange is very clear and good. I'm on the fence of recommend them. If your looking replace a blown OEM speaker with not much expectations then these are good. Looking to upgrade thinking these are going to sizzle the highs, no look else where.

These look to be well constructed with polypropylene cones. They state 350W max but would not even contemplate feeding them that potential if you intend to use the included wiring harness'. Installed them in my tractor shed on some osb. They actually sound really good with my Bose marine stereo. Ran 14 AWG speaker wire to them and discarded the included wire. The grills are cheap plastic so if you use a driver be sure to stop short and finish with a screwdriver. The issue I have with these are the spades on the speakers. Two different sizes and neither are standard 1/4". I ended up soldering the feeders to the spades. These are reminiscent of speakers you used to find at the car audio swap meets back in the 80's. Inexpensive but sound great with gigantic power handling claims. I did crank the volume and they can produce. Didn't hit any distortion and bass hits pretty hard. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with them.

I got these speakers because I was looking to upgrade the rear speakers on my son's 2012 Honda Insight. The dimensions of these speakers are within range of the recommended dimensions. Installation went quick and without issues. The sound quality is good for a full range speaker. Definitely not the same as having separate woofers, but that is expected because woofers work better only with a housing helps pushing air out, giving the that needed kick. These decent speakers if you are looking for something easy to install without costing too much.

I picked up the five-way 6x9s, and I was quite surprised how well they sound. They do appear to be a clone of a pioneer, as far as looking at the box, they almost had the same part numbers. But I use these to replace an older set of Kenwood excelon 6x9s. Compared to the kenwoods, they were just a tad quieter, very little bit, but they were producing more frequencies than the kenwoods were, the kenwoods were a three-way. So the extra speakers on this, you could hear a fuller sound coming from them. I do have them amplified, running about 135 watts each to them, that could possibly make a difference on why they sound as well as they do. But I do like them, and I think they're a pretty good buy.
