I chose the 6x9 ft green rug and am very happy with my choice. The office/cat room needed an area rug and I just had not found one that I liked enough that I could maintain easily. The office/cat room is pretty much 90% cat room/10% office as I don't work from home as much as I used to, but still keep a desk, monitors and office chair. Since the cat has taken over the room, I did not want a rug that was too thick or fluffy as it would be harder to keep clean. Even with an enclosed litter box, she still tracks litter around the area, and I got tired of sitting on dusty floors (cat litter creates so much dust). The cat only liked to relax on the top of the couch so she could watch the outdoor birds and squirrels but as soon I laid down the rug, she immediately settled next to one of her scratching posts. Both her and my dog has spread out across the rug! Since the rug is thin and I did not add any carpet tape or similar material to adhere to the floors, I slid part of rug under the futon sofa so the pets wouldn't accidentally move the carpet and bunch it up in the middle of the room. I have a top loading washing machine and the carpet won't fit inside my washer, but if you have a front-loading machine, you should have no problem. I'll take it to my parents when it's ready for a deep clean - otherwise, I'll use a handheld vacuum to pick up the excess litter pieces.

I have quite a few washable rugs, this one is by far the thinnest and the least soft. I know washable rugs are thin, but this is really thin. Also, the color is drastically different. I know they talk about differences in color, but I'm a professional painter and I can tell the base tone is different than what's pictured. Other than that, its not a terrible rug if you need something cheap and washable. It's much darker than the photos, but has more a blue-ish undertone. Overall, i will use it until I find something better. I may put this aside for special occasions for gatherings on my back deck or something..

Abstract with muted colors, boho and distressed rugs are all popular at the moment. This rug manages to fit each of those niches (the pattern is not abstract, but the colors are typical of those popular in abstract rugs). So this rug could, in its neutral and understated way, scarcely be more fashionable. It also comes at a very fair price for its size (I got the 6' x 9').

I love these rugs. Without a doubt they are one of my favorites. They have a very soft pile that feels great on your bare feet. So, they are perfect for having next to your bed or in your bathroom or something like that. Somewhere more intimate where you are walking around barefoot a lot. They are pretty to look at as well and easy to wash. I have washed mine several times and they still look just as good. But I do wash them on delicate and then dry them on the lowest heat setting just to make sure. I got the 2X8inch which is perfect for hallways. However, below are the reasons why this isn't always the greatest place to put one of these rugs. There are some negatives I have found over time. They aren't really suitable for entry ways where a lot of people with shoes on are constantly walking on it. Or places such as hallways for the exact same reason. The material can get dirty looking faster than others I think so it is best to have them more out of the way from ucky shoes. If you don't use shoes around your house, then great! You will always get compliments when someone walks on them with bare feet! But if you do, you will find other things a bit frustrating. I like to vacuum my house a lot and that includes going over my rugs. I hate when I have to take a rug outside and shake it, even beat it against a tree. Followed usually by a washing. And that is what I have to do with these because they are so soft and light my vacuum won't go over them no matter how much I lift the head of my vacuum up. It just vacuums it up. That is frustrating. I have many in my house and I can't get other people to treat them better. So, that makes me have to take care of them more. The lightness of the fabric leads me to one more thing. They have a thin rubberish backing on the back to help keep them in place, but I find it isn't enough if there is a lot of walking on them. So, I had to buy some of those stickers you put on the back of rugs to keep them in place. Which backfires because I just have to pick them up so I can wash them. So, I think it just depends on who you live with, lol, where you put it, and what you are willing to do for a very soft, pretty rug.
