I bought this scooter about 5 months ago and it had been amazing and it's soo reliable. I bought this for my girlfriend and i added the adjustable seat with built in suspension and replaced the front forks with a set of suspension forks and she absolutely loves it. We both absolutely highly recommend this scooter to anyone or there considering purchasing a scooter. I wouldn't recommend it to young teenagers as it does have a pretty fast top speed and the height of the handlebars is definitely built for a taller person/adult. Overall though, for being in the 350 Watt class of scooters it is all amazing scooter. Best of luck to anyone in the market and if i was you i would look no further and but this scooter asap hope this review helps anyone and everyone who takes the time to read it. π Why did you pick this product vs others?: The reliability of this scooter is amazing, plus you have for to love the bright turn signals to help keep the rider safe and visible at night. Smooth ride: After adding the front suspension it is amazingly smooth, was not a bad ride before but definitely a noticeable difference after the change of the forks. Fun to ride: A ton of fun to ride with all impressive range and at no expense to the weight of the scooter. This scooter is Soo unbelievably light weight, is crazy when you pick it up for the first time how light it actually is Foldability: 5 seconds to gold it up and store and it had for in multiple different trunks and small storage places when travelling in a vehicle or not in use spring it indoors. Looks: Sleep design and really cool design features. Looks very clean. Power: It doesn't have a ton of torque but it definitely has a very smooth, consistent, power and it had no trouble reaching that 18m.p.h. top speed every time. If it is horribly windy out and your riding directly into the wind you will notice it in terms of power and probably only got a top speed of 15m.p.h. but that's only happened i want to say twice in 5 months and the wind was super strong those days. I weigh about 165 and my lady is probably 130 and it doesn't allow down on her at all strong wind or not so i guess it will just matter on how much the rider weighs Speed: There are 4 speed settings i believe, 3, 9, 15, 18m.p.h.!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This Review is for the 5th Wheel V40 PRO Electric Scooters. I writing it here because All of the Reviews were disabled and their bad reviews were deleted. Lets Start with the Build quality. Its poor. One month of riding and my back tire began to loosen. and the only way to tighten it is covered and inaccessible unless you literally tear into the Reflector. Horrible Design flaw. The bolts were not fully tightened. for $400 dollars, every damn one should be tightened. There is Zero Shock absorption. Anything is an obstacle. I would Avoid buying any Scooters from 5th wheel.

My wife purchased this scooter for my son for Christmas. Great product and well made. A few months after getting it he broke the turn signal and they were prompt to help us get it fixed.

We like the 5th wheel scooter and it has been dependable for us to use! It's fast for a scooter and the folding locking mechanism is nice. We had a problem with the 5th Wheel throttle and customer serivce sent us a new throttle immediately for us to replace. We had another issue with the battery and again, customer service was attentative and helpful. 5th Wheel stood behind their product and sent us a new battery as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is for two reasons: I would like for the lights to be brighter. The locking mechanism could use some tweaking: an alarm that goes off that could be part of the app is an idea. Lastly, they did replace the battery went it died on us but I have to compliment this company and say they stay true to their words and they replaced the battery.

We were looking for a scooter and I did a lot of research and felt this one offered a great compromise between price and quality. It's very solid and is very easy to use. With a weight capacity of 264 lbs even I'm able to use it. This was mainly for my 11-year-old son to get to and from school but my 8-year-old is able to use it as well. IMPORTANT: When first folding it into the upright position, our scooter had a piece of Styrofoam taped to the hinge that kept it from closing properly. It's not mentioned in the directions. Make sure you remove it. Customer service is very responsive, though they only have an email at this time, no phone, so be patient, but they do respond in a reasonable time.

This scooter is great! Super reliable. It gets me to work and back without issues. It charges fully within a few hours. The cruise control is super convenient. The solid tires really help in my area due to stickers from weeds. It has blinkers, a decent headlight and brake light. It's pretty quick and quiet. I've had it longer than 6 months without issues. Thanks 5th wheel.
