This is a great starter e-bike. Before purchasing, I was looking at others in the $1,000–$1,500 range, but I didn’t want to spend that much without trying one first as I was unsure how much I would ride it. The bike arrived well-packaged and was easy to assemble—it took me about 30 minutes before I was riding it. The front wheel arrived bent, so I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement wheel and a free pair of fenders for my inconvenience which was a pleasant surprise. I had to take it to a bike shop to switch the tire, which cost me $15 and 5th Wheel reimbursed me. The company kept checking in to make sure everything was working well and that I was happy with the bike. This bike is so fun & easy to ride. It has 3 levels of pedal assistance but I never take it off level one because it’s so fast & easy to pedal. Overall, the bike has exceeded my expectations, and I’m very glad I chose this one over the more expensive options. ... show more

This is a great electric bike. It took me about 1 hour to assemble which is pretty strightforward. Once assembled, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of its components and the finished look. The power of the motor and battery are pretty good. Since my purchase, I have ridden about 15~20 miles every day with the electric motor assist as needed. I charge once every 3~4 days just to make sure I will not run out of battery. The disc brakes are solid and confidence inspiring on downhill roads. Oh, the customer service was excellent too! There was a small tear on the saddle but the seller quickly sent me a replacement. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend this bike and the seller. ... show more

The bike came well packaged. The assembly instructions are poor. Luckily, I am extremely mechanically inclined. Assembly for me was 45 to 60 minutes. Seat is a bit uncomfortably so I will upgrade. Shifts gears well. Rides nice. Love the throttle & peddle assist when I get tired or when I pulling the grandson in a kid trailer. yes, I made a bracket to pull a kid trailer. Battery lasts long. Have 10 miles on it now and the peddle assist is pulsating. Extremely annoying. The throttle is smooth so its probably the controller or cadence sensor. Cant locate the sensor to clean & adjust it. Wish they sent a more detailed manual. I wish I bought a ebike with a torque sensor. You get what you pay for. For $599 it does the job. Fours stars for the price. 2.5 stars when compared to a $1200 ebike. ... show more

    • Bad tire
I bought this bike as a holiday gift for my son. The bike was shipped and packed so there wouldn't be any damage, all parts wrapped well. I was able to put it together with out issues, using the tools that came with the bike. The battery charged with out and issues. He was so excited to go for his first ride. He got about 5 miles from home when the back tire popped. He fell and got a couple scrapes. He pushed the bike back home. I went out today to buy all things needed to patch/replace the inner tube of the back tire. New tube, wenches, patch kits, tire pump... etc. I first tried looking for anything that pierced the tirecto patch it. I didn't see anything. I then tried to remove the tube valve to put slime patch in the tube and the valve ripped off....Ok...I then tried to replace the tube. Tried for 3 hours to remove the nut to take the back wheel off and, I can't get the nut loosened to open the frame to install the new tube. I now have a cut my hand and tomorrow I have to load the ebike on to my car ( I have a small car, and no bike rack) and bring it to a bike shop and hopefully get them to help me fix this tire or buy a new one. Extremely disappointed in this. Thank goodness my son had on a helmet. He only got to use the bike for about an hour. I don't know why the tire popped. Nothing pierced the tire from what I can see. There wasn't any nails or sharp rocks or glass.... We are both just very disappointed and extremely frustrated at this point. ... show more
