Tried these out for most recent fluid change. Was a bit awkward to use, flex is not quite long enough for comfort, and it’s pretty easy to spill at the top without perfect technique. Switched back to a classic funnel to finish the job after trying to get it right a couple times. While you can make these work I would recommend getting an assortment of normal funnels with a variety of sizes instead for the short reaches these are suitable for. You will need long flex funnel for hard to reach regardless

It's an excellent all-in-one device that works seamlessly for those tricky tasks like filling transmission fluid or the engine crankcase with oil, and more. It keeps things clean, and my engine is exceptionally clean too. I was delighted to discover that this item was very reasonably priced. The design is quite ingenious, featuring a funnel system that can be used with both standard gallon screw caps and standard quart screw caps. The neck section is designed like an accordion, which provides endless adjustability when pouring, allowing you to change the pouring angle as needed.

Horrible design. The spout is too small and oil poured out all over the place. Doesn't fit well.. Avoid .

Handy to keep in the boot (trunk) for emergency use. The extendable spout is nice to get up away from obstacles. I wish the funnel part itself was a bit larger, but they work nicely for getting into awkward places and as long as you go slowly, they don't make a mess. If you try to upend an entire quart of oil at one time - it's going to overflow. If you pour it out in a measured rate, it's fine.

Will this hold up in a shop? Probably not for very long. These are more of a one time use or a weekend warrior type of funnel. This is just a convenient thing to keep in your glove box or your trunk, for whenever you gotta top off any fluid. That's not to say you can't use it in shop or use it frequently. It just means that it is not built to the best quality. But for the price, what are you expect? So buy a set and keep one in each of your cars.
