Way more power than I expected from a battery. I dont have leaves in my yard but I use it to clean my patio and garage and i love it. The fan is loud when it charges.

The media could not be loaded. Here are my thoughts on this big and bad blower from DCK. First, this is a nice looking overall kit. The red and black colors on the nicely designed power unit/motor and handle portion are sharp. Not that it has anything to do with performance... The kit comes with a couple blower tube end attachments. One is angled tube end, one a flatter end, one a tapered tube type. I tend to use the one that is tapered to concentrate the airflow. It also comes with a huge 58v rechargeable battery, the battery charger, and a shoulder strap. So it's pretty much all you need. Now performance-wise, this thing is a beast. It's rated at 770 cmf, which if you are air blowing expert, that might mean something to you. But for me, it means that it's got some serious blowing power. I have 2 other electric and one blower attachment that goes on the end of my big Stihl combo unit. This blower "blows" the other electrics away and is probably as powerful, maybe more, than my Stihl combi trimmer one. If you watch my attached video, that's about 5 or so inches of relatively wet snow I'm blowing off. Next, the battery and charger. This is a powerful machine and it has a powerful battery to run it. The battery is big and weighty. Not heavy, as the whole setup is about 10 lbs, but it has heft. It connects to the motor unit buy sliding in, similar to many battery power tools. Once secured, it sort of helps balance out the setup, making for comfortable use and low fatigue. Now the charging unit is also large. And noisy. I was surprised how much fan noise it had when I plugged it in and started my first charge. Sounds like a a couple of large computer servers booting up. Some other notes on this blower: It has variable speed from the trigger and a turbo button for extra umph. You can lock in and "cruise control" at whatever power you like, not just the highest full throttle setting. It's a bit noisy, as blowers are, so ear protection would be a good idea. Assembly, and as importantly, disassembly are a breeze with the tubes snapping/unsnapping via buttons. Also, the is makes it easy to clean as well. Plus the sturdy plastic housing is an easy wipe down if too. Battery life is good. I use it in random intervals mostly so I cannot tell you how much start to finish run-time you'll get. I did one 20 minute run cleaning out a pole building without letting off turbo too much before it died. But right now, it went from fall to winter fast and I went from blowing leaves to blowing snow off of things. I leave this baby right by the door so I can clear a path. I've gotten more than several runs out of it before a charge was required. Pretty impressive brushless, cordless leaf blower so far. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for it seems. Power wise, it's great. DCK says they'll warranty this for 3 years on the battery, 5 on the unit. So some peace of mind too.

The media could not be loaded. I have used gas, electric, and battery operated leaf blowers and this is my favorite so far. The gas blower I used was 2-cycle and I hated mixing gas and the maintenance that came with keeping the blower operational. I liked the electric one I used for years but always hated dragging out the 100’ cord. This has the power and convenience of a gas and electric blower without any of the hassle. The battery is HEAVY! I swear the battery itself weighs 10 pounds. The blower and fittings are very lightweight, so when combined it is not hard to handle at all. Since it is winter time, I have used this blower to blow the snow off of my driveway and off of our vehicles. I’ve used it to blow out dirt and leaves from the garage floor. And I haven’t had to charge it once since I got it. I think I’ve probably used it a total of 30 minutes of run time on a single battery charge with no drop in power. There is a “turbo” button on top and I’ve found if there is anything more than dry leaves or dirt I end up using this button to make sure I blow debris away on the first pass. The charger has a built in fan that is noisy at first but it keeps the battery cool so that it charges faster. After about a minute the charger fan quiets down and just charges the battery. I like the attachments that come with it. They snap into the body or each other securely and provide versatile shapes to blow directionally depending on the need. Comparably priced to similar blowers with the same battery voltage and output. Works very well for all I’ve asked it to do so far. The true test will be blowing all the leaves in the yard next fall, but I don’t foresee this having any trouble doing what I expect it to do.
