  • 5,500 SQ FT LARGE DEHUMlDIFlER: Our dehumidifiers for home extracts up to 80 pints of water per day in medium to large rooms (at 95F, 90% RH condition). This large dehumidifier is perfect for basement, home, bathrooms, offices, apartments, garages, storage rooms, laundry rooms, cellars, large spaces, etc. It is important to choose an efficient dehumidifier! (Please note: under 95F, 90%RH condition, the max dehumidification capacity is up to 80 pints, but dehumidification capacity is not equal to water tank capacity)
  • MULTIPLE PORTABLE DESIGNS: The dehumidifier for large room features 4 dehumidification modes. Press the MODE button to select from Sleeping Area (55%), Living Area (50%), Basement (45%), and Continuous Mode. With a humidity value display on the front, our dehumidifier for basement enables you to effortlessly check the humidity level from a distance. The embedded handle and universal wheels make it easy to move around, while the thoughtful child lock design provides safety protection
  • AUTO SHUT OFF and 2 DRAINAGE OPTION: Our basement dehumidifier is equipped with a 4.5L tank. When the tank reaches maximum capacity, the Bucket Full indicator lights up, and the dehumidifier automatically shuts off. The dehumidifier with drain hose also allow for continuous drainage. You can choose to use the dehumidifier hose for easier and less effort in continuous drainage
  • 3 FAN SPEEDS and 24-HOUR TIMER: Our VEAGASO dehumidifier offers 3 adjustable fan speeds to give you plenty of options. You can set the fan speed to low to ensure a quiet environment while you work. Additionally, it has a 24-hour timer setting that enables preset operations and reduces energy consumption
  • AUTO DEFROST and WASHABLE FILTER: If this large dehumidifier detects frost, the auto-defrost feature activates automatically until the frost is gone, thereby extending the life of the product. The removable filter is also easy to clean and maintain, ensuring the dehumidifier stays in optimal condition at all times
  • USING SUGGESTIONS: When the dehumidifier is in operation, leaving doors and windows open can introduce fresh moisture, making it more challenging for the dehumidifier to effectively lower the overall humidity levels. Therefore, we recommend keeping your doors and windows closed, allowing the dehumidifier to efficiently remove existing moisture

  • Noticeably pulls the moisture out of the air
Purchased this some months back for my mom's house because every time I would walk in, I would get a musty/ moldy smell. So I suggested to her that a dehumidifier might help. After this arrived, I had it up and running in a matter of minutes with the easy to understand instructions. Within a couple of hours there was a noticeable difference in the humidity in the house and the air began to smell better. There are various setting on the control panel so that you can tailor the functionality to your needs. There is a bit of noise from the fan, but not as much as one might expect for all the work it's doing. It comes with wheels preinstalled. Which is a good thing, because this unit is a hefty boy, though not as heavy as it could be and it's compact design makes it easy to slide into an out of the way place. Definitely recommend if you live in a very humid climate or if you are dealing with an overabundance of moisture in your house. ... show more

  • Dependable and well-built
I have owned this for one and a half years and it has been solid and dependable. It has been run for thousands of hours and works like it did the first day I bought it. This was a good purchase

  • No support. It died. Avoid.
Worked very well for a while then the compressor stopped working. Now it is a fan. I emailed support with no reply despite it being under warranty. Junk.

  • Quality looking unit, difficult to register warranty.
I just unpackaged this dehumidfier this morning, so I can't comment on performance yet. The unit came in the original factory box, there was no damage to the box. The unit was well packed and supported in the box to guard against shipping damage. Here are my initial observations and experiences: Pros: Well packaged. High quality look, fit, and feel. Very intuitive control panel with large touch pad buttons, also controls are clearly labeled in English, no confusing symbols. Multifunction buttons have LED lights to indicate settings (High, Med., Low, etc.) Unit is surprisingly quiet; it makes the most noise when fan is set to High. It comes with a short drain hose, the dehumidifier has a drain port on the back with a screw cap; the threads on the drain outlet accepts a standard garden house fitting; you can attach the included hose to the built in hose outlet barb, or purchase 3/8 in. ID tubing if more length is required. Three fan speeds to select from. Choice of manually selecting settings, or one of three pre-programmed settings (Sleeping area, Living Area, Basement) It has an LED panel on the front showing the rooms humidity level, and the readout can be turned off. Cons: The warranty registration link Veagaso provides in the instructions does not work. Their web site is very sparse. The instructions state that with prompt registration they will extend the warranty to 3 years. I suspect that if I try to make a warranty claim 3 yrs. from now they won't even exist to honor it. Water tank is small for an 80 pint rated dehumidifier. The unit is compact in overall size so the small tank is a compromise to keep the unit slim. It's not a problem for me as I use a drain hose. There are 186 reviews on Amazon, but the serial number of the unit I received is 0003. The label on my unit shows a manufacturing date of 07-24; there may be a reasonable explanation but can't help but wonder how many of the reviews are real. I am giving the unit 5 stars because of the build quality and ease of use. I will update this review after a couple weeks of use. ... show more

  • Impressive. Definite difference in indoor humidity.
Received yesterday on 7/11/24. Purchased due to unbelievable humidity levels even though our ac, which is only a year old system, is running constantly to maintain an indoor temp of 74 F. Feels like about 85 F at times. The setup was easy and very straightforward and only took 5 minutes. This unit is not too large but it is heavier than you would think. I believe it’s 32 lbs. The unit ran for about 6 hours set at 50% RH and the tank was almost full then but with a very noticeable increase in comfort overall due to the decrease in humidity. Tank emptied around 9pm and by 10 am next morning it automatically shut off due to a full water tank. The tank is very easy to empty. There is a hose and siphon method. A garden hose hook up or just pull out the tank and empty. Pulling out tank is easiest method. Not heavy and there is a sturdy handle for carrying. The air coming from ac vents feels dramatically cooler and very noticeable due to decrease in humidity. This ia a 5000 sq ft unit and has a 95 pint water tank. Two full tanks in 24 hours is impressive. My house is about 2000 sq ft so the one unit is more than enough to accomplish goals. Nice unit with no problems so far. You also get an additional 3 yr extended warranty but you have to register for it. My only complaint is the website link and instructions for getting warranty are not clear at all or doesn’t work. I contacted support and am waiting on a reply. They claim up to a 48 hr reply time. It’s been about 12 so I can’t give a definitive answer on how this will be handled. For the price and warranty this seems to be a great unit that has proved itself in less than 24 hrs. Update to initial review.......I mentioned the warranty and that I was waiting on a reply. Their support department actually replied the same day and sent me confirmation the 3 yr warranty was activated. It was an email issue that was actually my fault so I just wanted to clear that up. To request the warranty just fill out the email / support request that's on the page for the warranty link and tell them that's why you are contacting them. They will take care of it. I'm totally impressed with machine and service at this point. ... show more

  • Updated Review, after customer service contact
Here's the update. Customer service read my review (that had been 3 stars) and reached out. She suggested trying bedroom mode (I never set any mode at all), but that sets the target at 50% humidity. It's so humid here, it would leave the unit running all the time. But in basement mode, with it's predefined 50%, it does obediently shut off when it gets to below 50. Too bad that's not my target. The range of humidity swings is still beyond what I'd like. If I set it for 55%, I expect it to turn on when it hits 60 and off it it goes below 50, but it's not that sensitive. Although it swings wider than I'd like, I have to reiterate that it does an amazing job of pulling moisture from the air and has been very dependably turning itself off if I don't empty the water receptacle before it's full. I have no regrets about having bought it. It's a great unit that dehumidifies very well. The humidity swings exceeding 5% of what I've set the unit to is my only disappointment. But I'm glad I have it!! Original post: The good: It really does a nice job of collecting moisture from the air. I can't even remember how many gallons I've pulled out of the air since I bought it a few weeks ago (when I moved in.) Also, you can put it in 'mirage' mode so it will display the current humidity in the room and you don't have to go over and keep looking. The bad: They put a notice in the box to not return it, but contact customer service and they'll respond within 12 hours. Nope, not even within a week or so. Just MIA. I like humidity at about 55% ~ up to about 60%. Gets waaaay more humid here than that, so this runs a lot. It only allows settings in 5% intervals, so I can pick 55% or 60%. But if I set it at 60%, why is it still running when it gets down to 52%? So then I go over and turn it off manually for a bit. When I contacted customer service to ask, nothing but crickets. Super disappointing. In most regards, this unit is something they can be very happy about offering to the market, but why say you're going to provide stellar customer service when you provide none at all? I also asked about converting it to the drainage hose. Will that have to go down ~ which would be into a bathroom shower drain for me. Or is it okay to run it up to any other place I could drain it in my house? So if you buy this, I hope you get a good one. Not sure they talk to their customers. Like ever. ... show more

  • A lean and feisty, great for a basement A lean and feisty, great for a basement
When I first unboxed this, I thought “there’s no way this small unit is going solve my humidity problem.” But my first impression was wrong. I was replacing an old unit that had broken, during a hot and humid stretch at the tail end of summer. The humidity level jumped to 68% in my basement while I waited for this unit to arrive. I let this unit sit 24hours before plugging it in and did so in the evening, after work. Within 18 hours it dropped my basement humidity from around 70% to around 45%. And it was verified by the monitor I keep in my basement (shown in the photo, but not at the time I’m referencing in the review) I’ve had the unit for about a month now and I’ve had zero issues and the display on the u it is always within 1-2% of the reading on the pictured separate monitor—and that monitor is kept on a shelf on the other side of my basement. In summary, it’s small but mighty. It eliminated a very noticeable humidity problem in my basement quickly, it is super quiet to operate, and using it will drastically reduce your electric bill if you’re replacing a much older dehumidifier. ... show more

  • Works Great only Energy Star Rated not Most Energy Star Rated
Veagaso 80 PT 5500 sq ft. Works great. 1.16 gallon tank. At first I was thinking of replacing with a "Most Energy Star Rated" but it works so well. Its in a damp basement and I have to use the tank. It fills up fast and I think its quiet, but it has to blow air so you can hear it. Its much quieter than the 10 year old one that quit working. The 1.16 gal tank is good size for having to carry up a flight of stairs to empty. I'm 62 years young. I will watch prices for the models with 1.4 gal tank and Most rating. I may keep this one for bedroom bathroom above crawlspace as it won't run constantly and get another with Most rating for basement with larger tank where it runs almost constantly. You do have to let it sit upright for 24 hours after delivery. I would recommend. ... show more
