I bought this dehumidifier for my basement. It has been working great! The size is perfect for my basement. I had smaller ones before but I have to constantly drain the water tank. This one is really easy to use, pulls a lot of moisture from the air, and the drain hose means I don’t have to keep emptying the tank. I couldn’t be happier with this ANDTE dehumidifier. The humidity in our home in Florida is out of control so I got this for our living room/kitchen area. It used to feel damp and musty year-round, but within just a day or two of running this unit, the difference was unbelievable — the air feels clean, dry, and comfortable. It’s rated for up to 5500 sq. ft, and it definitely lives up to that claim. The Energy Star efficiency was a big selling point for me, and it’s great to know it runs powerfully without driving up my electric bill. The smart humidity control feature works perfectly — I set my desired humidity level once, and it automatically maintains it with no fuss. The touch control panel is easy to use, and the digital readout is clear and responsive. The 1.32-gallon tank is a good size, but it does include a drain hose making continuous drainage effortless meaning no more emptying buckets every few hours. I also appreciate the auto-defrost feature, which keeps it running smoothly even in cooler temperatures. It’s quiet, efficient, and feels really well-built. After seeing how much water it pulls from the air, I’m honestly amazed I waited this long to get one. The humidifier is the quietest humidifier I have owned. It seems to work, but very slowly. I have a ge model that fills a larger bucket in 9 hours,in my second home. The humidifier in my second home is loud, so I’m kind of not wanting to hate on this model. It does reduce the humidity in my Miami house by 4%.. ... show more

Post UPDATE: One of the issues most folks hate to do is contact a company on an issue with a purchased product. I reached out and contacted ANDTE's service department. I was happily greeted with a response to help me work through and verify my machine was working improperly. After a few easy steps and emails, ANDTE agreed to send me a new machine. The whole process took about four and a half days due to me missing a day of checking emails. Ulitimately, ANDTE replaced the unit as it was still in the warranty window. Though my first machine failed, it worked great while it did. What's even better is a company that stands behind their products and is willing to help you work out what the issue could be. I am greatly appreciative for the opportunity to work with ANDTE and their service department. This experience has left me feeling very satisfied with the experience and the ANDTE company. Thank you for all of your help with this process. The ANDTE PD120K worked just fine for six months, then it just quit working, so definitely not reliable. I expected better performance for the reviews of this machine; however, my other machine lasted 4 years before dying. I'm currently working with their support to rectify the situation.     • Terrible customer service for a bad dehumidifier

Bought this July 2025 and it worked "ok" brought humidity level down to acceptable range but not down to what I had it set at. We did not use it over the winter. Turned it on for this season and you could hear it running but did not remove ANY humidity from the air. Ran it for 48 hours. Unplugged it, let it sit for a day or so and tried again. No water collected. Contacted the company thru the product support link given on amazon. They gave me a different email since that link was for industrial dehumidifiers. I emailed the one they gave (which is also the email listed in the manual). No response. Contacted them thru the buyer/seller messages in amazon. No response. Terrible customer service from the seller. I ended up going thru the protection plan I purchased. They are refunding my money. But I am out the $30 for the protection plan, which would have transferred to the new machine if Andte would have made good on their warranty and replaced the machine.
