We had a leak in our ceiling from a toilet pipe. Not only was the wood saturated with water but the moisture from the ceiling/attic did not help. I had purchased this for our garage during the summer but ended up using the dehumidifier for this. Not only did we have cool weather but as soon as this came in, I plugged it in and this thing went to work right away. Figuring it out was super easy to do thanks to the instructions but emptying this out was actually really easy. Not only did we have this up within minutes from it being delivered but the whole week we had it running 24/7, it collected so much water/moisture. Within just the first hour, the container was already half full and I was already seeing a difference in the wood. By the end of the week, everything was completely dried out and we were still dealing with cool/wet weather. Even with watching my electricity bill, our electrical usage never once spiked during that time. While we did have to cut a hole in the ceiling of our closet and stick this dehumidifier on a shelf, this collected so much water that what would have normally taken weeks to dry, took literal days and we only kept it running a few extra days to be cautious. This thing was not helpful but this dehumidifier was built to last. Highly recommended and it made cleaning the mildew and mold so much easier. Now that we have the heat coming, we currently have this in our garage on a continuous drain and again, its not only watering our plants with that water but this thing is still running and going strong! Really does collect a lot of moisture and helped save us so much money on repairs too!

This dehumidifier works well so far, it's especially nice having the option to either drain directly into a sink/drain or just use the built-in tank. If you opt to use the tank it has to be emptied every now and then, so it's much more convenient to use the tube for draining if you're able to. The noise level is pretty normal, although I didn't find a huge difference between the low and high fan speed which is interesting. It essentially just sounds like a fan is on (because one is), maybe a bit quieter than a box fan. For the features, it's nice to be able to just have it on when the humidity hits a certain level, or keep it running constantly if you want to. The 'clothes drying' mode is cool, but it's essentially just running the dehumidifier on the highest setting nonstop. Either way it's nice to be able to switch between the different modes, no complaints there. Overall it performs as it should so far. I think it's perfect for a basement or somewhere where you don't have to worry about the noise much, and if you can have it drain into a sink/drain, it can really just be set up and forgotten which is great.

Performance has been impressive. In my 1000 sq.ft. basement (tested at 80°F, 70% RH), it reduced humidity to a comfortable 45% within 8 hours, removing about 40 pints of water in the first 24 hours (slightly below the 52-pint max at 95°F, 90% RH, as expected in less extreme conditions). The smart humidity control adjusts the compressor automatically, maintaining my set level (40-55%) without constant tinkering. I also tested it in my 600 sq.ft. living room, where it handled post-shower humidity from an adjacent bathroom effectively. The three fan speeds and quiet operation (around 45-50 dB on low) meant it didn’t disrupt movie nights, though the highest setting is noticeably louder. The drain hose worked flawlessly—no leaks or backups over two weeks—and the tank, when I tested it, was easy to remove and empty. After regular use, the filter showed some dust but was simple to clean with a rinse.

We bought this because there is no fan in our bathroom and we live in a really humid place in the US. This thing has been a life saver, helping dry out the bathroom after we take showers without us having to open windows because it is also incredibly hot here year round. When the tray is full, it will beep and you can empty it. It is a nice perfect size, that was very easy to use. We also haven't seen a significant change in our energy bill so it’s pretty efficient. We've had it for a few months now and we haven't experienced any problems with it, no leaking, faulty power cord or anything. Amazing purchase-worth the money.The product is very easy to use.My parents one bathroom has no fan I’ll buy one for them also if this one lasts long

With summer approaching, I decided it was time to replace my old dehumidifier, which had started malfunctioning. It was quite outdated, didn’t have a drain hose, and I had to manually empty the water tray constantly which made it less efficient and honestly a hassle to deal with. My basement is about 4,000 sq. ft., so I needed something powerful enough to handle that space. I was sleeping extremely hot in my room and I noticed my AC was set to under 70° but I was still sweating while in the bed. Turns out the humidity was extremely high in my room, and this dehumidifier has helped me tremendously. My room is now much more comfortable to sleep in at night, especially with how humid it gets here in the south. I have had dehumidifiers before in the past but nothing as fancy and as good as this one. I don’t have to run it for very long at all, and then the room feels much dryer and much more comfortable to sleep in. The quality of this item is outstanding, there is no leakage, and it is not very noisy at all. It is also very easy to empty. overall, this is a 10/10 for me.
