Great foundation but small size makes it a little harder to apply

I like this foundation - it doesn’t look heavy yet it covers my light melasma fairly well. It has a slightly glowy finish (not too luminous). I prefer a slightly more matte finish so I just add a light dusting of setting powder. I bought the small size so I could try out the color. Unfortunately, the small size of the sponge makes it a little awkward to apply the foundation. Once I use this up I plan on buying the full size. I usually wear light neutral shades and 22N matches me perfectly. EDIT: while I still like this foundation, it seems this mini size does not contain very much foundation, or maybe it's old stock and starting to dry out. When I watch videos about this foundation on youtube, a ton of product seems to get on the applicator sponge. So much the instructions from Jung Saem Mool tell you to tap the sponge on the case to remove some of the excess. With the mini size, I have to press the applicator sponge really hard into the foundation, and even then, hardly any makeup gets onto the applicator. ... show more

I bought the mini size to see if I would like this foundation before committing to the full size, and I honestly wish I had purchased the larger one. It has become one of my favorite everyday foundations. The coverage is very buildable. One light layer gives a natural, skin like finish, but you can easily add another layer for more coverage without it looking heavy or cakey. It leaves my skin looking healthy with a soft, radiant glow instead of a flat matte finish. I also love how compact the mini is. It fits perfectly in my purse, making it easy for quick touch ups before dinner or an evening out. The cushion and puff make it convenient when you’re away from home. The only mistake I made was choosing a shade that was a little too light for my skin. That was completely my fault, and next time I’ll order one shade darker because I definitely plan on buying this again. If you’re curious about Korean cushion foundations, this is a great one to start with. It feels lightweight, blends easily, and gives a fresh, natural look that lasts well throughout the day. Great for Dry Skin and Fine Lines

I have been on the hunt for a good cushion foundation, and I think this one is great. I am Asian (40+) with skin on the dryer side, no issues with blemishes and do not have sensitive skin, but I do have smile lines that tend to crease with many foundations. Since this one is so hydrating, it works really well with my skin type, and it doesn't accentuate fine lines. Coverage is light to medium but I feel like you could build up to full-coverage if you wanted because it blends so well. It looks really natural and lasts all day if you use a good setting spray (I use One/Size by Patrick Starrr) and I had no issues reapplying at the end of a work day, before going out to dinner. I bought the mini size so that I could test it out and I'm definitely going to buy the full size. The mini is great for touch ups though since it comes with a cushion and a mirror. Oh it does have a scent, which I usually don't like, but it fades pretty quickly so I've been okay with it. ... show more

My favorite foundation ever but bad seller

Honestly such a GREAT product in itself but giving 3 stars because I don’t want to promote the seller. I first received a used foundation which I half-expected from previous reviews. I returned it and 2 days later got a new one. I tried it on this morning and will say that this is my favorite, holy grail foundation. It looks and feels like my skin but a bajillion times better. I look BRIGHT and look hydrated. It is pretty glowy, so if you have dry skin it’s great. If you have oily skin like me, just use a powder puff and dipped it in some loose powder ( I used the fit me maybelline powder in fair), dabbed it on my hand to tap off excess, and lightly pat it into my nose, under my eyes, forehead, my smile lines near my mouth and sides of my face to cover my contour, I avoided the apples of my cheeks to maintain the pretty natural glow/highlight the foundation provides. It is an AMAZING product but it is a little scary to order from this seller in specific. The packaging is really cute and provides pretty natural coverage. I used a color corrector palette 02 by the saem and it worked wonderfully with this cushion. I look forward to using it more! ... show more

Best cushion foundation I have tried so far

I have tried 4 different cushion foundations just trying to find the best fit for me and this one is the best. It goes on really well (make sure you are putting it on correctly though, Robert Welsh has a great YouTube how-to on using a vision foundation), it has great coverage, the color match is perfect, and it still looks great at the end of the day. Works great on my skin, for reference I am in my mid-40’s. I will say though all the cushion foundations have been really good. If you’ve never used one give them a try but again just be sure you know how to use it first or it will not look right. Love that you can just buy refills too instead of a whole new one when you run out. ... show more

Your skin but better

I bought the smaller sized oat (W) shade on a whim because a) my entire makeup case with my regular products was missing and b) I wanted something to fit TSA regulations. Holy smokes is this the stuff of dreams? Even my inept unskilled hands can't mess this up, it's so easy to apply. It really is like "your skin but better!" with great coverage without cakey-ness. A little goes a long way. It had better given the per ounce price but the cost is totally worth it. It lasted eight hours with a single touch up without primer or setting spray. I also love the design of the compact with it's separate section for the cushion. Now I just need to find a second job to fund my impending serious Korean makeup problem. ... show more

Great coverage and soft glow , definitely go up one shade in color

I love following trends for makeup and skin care and this has such great reviews I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I did not love it. It wasn’t horrible, but compared to the reviews I was expecting a miracle worker. I know it’s buildable, but I didn’t want to layer too much on, that was one of the benefits to this is that it’s touted as a lighter foundation feel. Also, as many noted, I believe the colors are off for American skin. I agree with what most said to go up one, possibly to shades from what you think would be right for your skin. I chose a darker color, and Amazon said I should go for the lighter color based on my previous purchases and that most people keep their purchase if they follow their recommendation. I followed their recommendation and I should’ve gone for the darker one! Again, it’s not horrible, but I didn’t love it and you need to shade up. UPDATE : i’ve been using this and actually like it, although still too light so I’m signing onto to buy darker color, but it does give a glow, great coverage and I find it very moisturizing. I just needed to figure out the sponge application. Still just going with four stars because the color situation. You try one color and it can’t be returned ... show more
