  • My Favorite Lens for Indoor Wrestling
Size: Fit for Micro 4/3 Mount *: MF 50mm F1.4 Black
This lens is a great value for the money. It feels like it is built like a tank and seems like it 95% glass and 5% metal.......It is beefy for sure. It is my go to lens for shooting indoor wrestling because the max aperture helps a lot when lighting conditions are less than perfect (like most high school gyms are) It is manual focus and manual focus takes a bit to get used to. It might not be great for action that moves over large distances as manually focusing might be difficult, but for wrestling it works great for me. At F1.4 it creates a ton of depth of field, lines on the wrestlers a crisp, almost like a silhouette In the attached photo my setup was this Lumix G100 camera Brightin Star 50mm F1.4 ISO 800 Shutter speed 1/640 No post processing ... show more

  • Seriousness of the manufacturer
Size: Fit for Micro 4/3 Mount *: 12mm F2 Black
The first lens was defective and the manufacturer immediately wanted to know why. It was an action of great seriousness and professionalism. The replaced lens is perfect. Excellent mechanics, sliding and easy to use rings. Great quality of German-derived optics , excellent blur, excellent distortion correction, excellent colorimetry (paste). At this price it is a small miracle . It is an absolutely valid and advisable product also thanks to the seriousness and professionalism of the manufacturer. You can find a review and more images if you search in Google "Lippiello Productions" blog. ... show more

  • Turns your camera into a point and shoot.
Size: Fit for Sony E-Mount *: 25mm F1.8 Black
It's a very good lens for the money. Also it's very small, which gives me additional carry options. I found colors to be more accurate than with far more expansive lenses I own, with fantastic skin tones. It's not happy shooting against bright light though. Close-up sharpness in the center is high when stopped down to f2.8, and good enough overall. With the lens attached my camera feels like a point and shoot and easily fits in my coat pocket, as well as dash compartments in my car. It's focal length of 25 millimiters is equivalent to 37.5mm on a full frame camera, which is very handy for numerous applications. There's some play in the camera mount, but not too much. Focusing is smooth and refined. Aperture ring turns with right amount of resistance, but not quite as smooth as focusing. Distortion is there, but not objectionable. If it proves reliable in use, I'll be super happy, for now I'm just plain happy. ... show more

  • Won’t focus sharply on distant objects.
Size: Fit for Canon EOS-M Mount *: 12mm F2 Black
I bought this lens specifically for fast (f/2) wide angle star scapes with my Canon M200 mirrorless camera. I wanted a fully manual lens so I could carefully adjust the focus and f/stop to optimize the pinpoint look of stars in starscape images. (Autofocus systems have trouble focusing on stars, and the manual over-rides often don’t work well.) At no point - near, at, or beyond the infinity position to the extreme limit - will the lens produce sharp pinpoint images of stars. Even distant trees remain slightly out of focus. Since this is a brand-new lens I will be returning it for a refund. I’ll look for a better-known brand of lens I can trust to perform properly. ... show more

  • This lens did not work for me
Size: Fit for Fuji XF Mount *: MF 50mm F1.4 Black
I have a Fujifilm XT-4 and I'm not crazy about this lens. I shoot a lot of landscape and photos of my young grandchildren. I have a lot of difficulty when shooting the kids and these are the reasons: a). it is manual focus, b). the f-stop ring doesn't have clicks and its easy to slip into wide open without realizing it only to find out later my picture is mostly out of focus. If you happen to shoot something that is not moving and perhaps you are on a tripod, and you are certain you have the correct f-stop, then it gives good images. But for what I do, it just doesn't work. ... show more

  • Slightly wider angle with good lighting
Size: Fit for Sony E-Mount *: 12mm F2 Black
If you're looking for an affordable, slightly wider lens for your Sony ZV-E10, this is it! The lense is somewhat long. The images I've attached include a comparison of three different Brightin Star lenses compared to the 16-50mm lens that came with my Sony ZV-E10.

  • 11 Star Lens For the 25mm & 50mm
Size: Fit for Micro 4/3 Mount *: MF 50mm F1.4 Black
I give this Lens an 11 out of 5 stars, great portrait lens. To qualify I'm a video person shooting on a Lumix G-95 and this works great for me! If your a photo shooter IDK I think the still are great but I'm not shooting $1,000 portraits. Love the all metal construction very smooth adjustments. As soon as I got it I ordered their 25mm lens too, Brightin Star you rock! I now have the 25mm & 50mm Brightin Star lens love them both they give me the full frame look with soft backgrounds for a fraction of the price! ... show more
