The best upgrade:I installed a remote switch in the cab so I don't have to climb into the bed to turn it on and off.If you frequently work from your truck,this inverter is definitely a much better option than a generater.

This inverter is as advertised. I connected it to an ocilloscope and it produced a very smooth sine wave. So it definitely produces what it claims to. So far this inverter is working well.

This is a good inverter. The box says there should be a wire manual included. Mine did not have the manual. I contacted amazon and they gave me the contact information for the manufacture. My E-mails have not been answered.

I installed it in my work truck and added an 8D tractor battery. This inverter can power both my belt-driven air compressor and my Lincoln 140A welder at the same time. I can power almost all my equipment: the RV air conditioner, tools, lights... Even though this unit has been sitting in the truck’s hot environment, it has performed exceptionally well. Oh, and it comes with a remote control and connection cables, which makes it so convenient to use. highly recommended

5000W Power Inverter is a very good inverter for my needs. It has more power potential than I have had to use yet but once hunting season arrives I am sure it will get a much more workout than it has to date. So far I have used it to power up tools, lighting and fans with no effort. I have it connected to the wheel well hump in the rear of my 2015 F-350 Connect full size cargo van with a deep cycle battery inline. I have a wire leading to the main battery to help keep the deep cycle battery charged and provide a extra boost if needed by the inverter. So far that has not been needed. A friend manufactured a custom made mounting plate that allowed me to securely mount the 5000W Power Inverter. On this mount it is easy to access all the controls when needed or remove the inverter if needed. I use a bayite DC 6.5-100V 0-100A LCD Display Digital Current Voltage Power Energy Meter Multimeter Ammeter Voltmeter with 100A Current Shunt to remotely power on and off the inverter. I may write another review after hunting season if there is anything better or worse to review on this inverter. Given my success with it so far, I highly recommend the EFFORTWAY 5000W Power Inverter for those needing a more powerful inverter with them for whatever project you may be working with or while camping. If needed I certainly would purchase this product again...
