I love this humidifier, it's quiet and efficient. I have it draining into a sump in my basementand so far it has been problem free, easy to set up and no maintenance required. Other than cleaning the filter occasionally I do nothing to it. I have over 1,000 sq ft in my basement and it keeps the whole area as dry as I want. This dehumidifier is fantastic! It quickly and quietly removes moisture from my basement, keeping the air fresh and comfortable. The sq. ft. coverage is impressive — it easily handles large spaces, and the built-in drain hose makes continuous operation effortless. I love the smart humidity control feature. This is a great value. Energy efficient, high capacity and relatively quiet - all for a great price. Also it’s fairly compact for the capacity. Instructions were straightforward. The bucket capacity is on the small side - which is how they get the unit so compact. But the gravity drain hose is easy to attach and included. I like that the hose is clear so you can see the water draining from machine to floor drain. I’ve only had it for a day - but it already significantly reduced humidity level. I will report back if there is a reliability issue.

After buying smaller ones that claimed a large tank that were really a 1/3 of the size claimed and not working, I ordered this model. And, it works - and fast. The tank could be larger but it collected a good amount of water already after a couple of hrs (not at the highest level). For day time the noise level is ok but for nighttime this is not whisper quiet - and the lights stay on. Overall I am pleased with this model and I hope, it holds up for many years to come.

Our old dehumidifier was 30 years old and we supected that it was not efficient so we bought this one. After the first month our electric bill dropped almost $20 and it keeps our 1000SF basement free of moisture at 55% which is where we have learned it has to be to stop mildew. This unit is also quite and has economy mode so it turns on and off as needed.

This is an excellent unit. I have been using it now for 2 months and could not be happier with the performance. The unit is compact and has very clean lines. The controls are easy to see and operate, however once it is set up it requires no attention at all. It is quiet when operating If you choose not to plumb it to a drain, the collection tank is easy to remove and empty.
