The legs could be a little bit more angled or you can simply make sure they are kept spread apart. Is talky not that much of an issue. Just beware when your cleaning your animal. It lifted this 150 lb Doe very easy. One man job it makes. Easy to put together, simple as pie! One of the pieces was bent a little in shipping, had to prey that in a bit. But what's perfect?

Assembly instructions are horrible. I looked at the pictures on amazon and figured it out easier than reading the instructions. The diagram is blurry and hard to read.

When I went to assemble found that the bolt for the winch assembly was missing. Had to get a 10mx100m bolt to hook the winch drum to the winch assembly body

Haven't hung a deer yet, but it seems sturdy enough. Instructions are horrible, easier to look at the photos on Amazon. First thing to do is get rid of that awful rats nest of the braided steel cable. I replaced the cable with 16' of 3/8" nylon rope. It winds up and releases a lot easier than the steel cable. Used a bungee cord to hold the rope to the side pole 1/2 way to the top. The rope still moves freely and it's held out of the way. UPDATE - hung our first deer on it this week. Worked great. The legs near the top keep the deer from spinning around when trying to butcher it.

Unfortunately didn't get a chance to use it this season. However I assembled it in the garage and was able to do a pull up from the gambrel (I'm 195 lbs) and it didn't budge one bit.
