The media could not be loaded. We bought the largest fireplace to fit exactly under our bedroom window. The mounting hardware is very easy to use with sheet rock or other backing. The FP IS heavy so lift with two people but the mounting holds it well. We mounted it externally but it only sticks out minimally and looks great. Some reviews have mentioned the remote being flakey..... I think some are used to the RF (radio frequency) remotes like on dish. You can use them without pointing them anywhere near the system. This is a IR (infra red) remote and must be pointed at the right end of the fireplace where the manual controls are. If you do that the remote will work flawlessly. The flames look realistic and the motor that runs the flames is quiet. There are LOTS of these units for sale on Amazon and I had a hard time deciding but this was an excellent choice. Highly recommended!!! Check out the video... our little pup is enjoying the fireplace from her perch on our bed..... :)

The package its self arrived with slight damage. The directions are clear and easy to read for the placement of the clear pebbles. The remote however, did not work, and I sent the manufacturer an email, I was contacted immediately and offered a new remote and if that didn't resolve the issue, they would send a replacement. Thankfully, the new remote worked perfectly, and I enjoy this unit every evening!

So far I really like this unit. They say it is quiet and they are not kidding. My installation involved a custom made cabinet that I built specifically for the fireplace, but it is thin enough for in-wall installation so long as your recess is within their specs. I love the different combinations of lighting that it supports for the flames and the ember bed. The heater performs as expected for 750/1500w, i.e. good for a small room like a bedroom. It is a solid, good quality unit overall, at a great price.

A few people mentioned the remote not working but I thought surely I wouldn’t receive a faulty remote….The fireplace is nice. The remote doesn’t work. I contacted the seller. I was told I would be receiving a new remote. That never happened. Just find a different seller or brand so your time and money won’t go to waste.
