For my 50th I received a similar blanket (pink and black) that has historical info about the YEAR I was born. It's great - but THIS blanket also signifies an AGE. This year my husband was turning 50, which made this blanket just a bit more special and was the reason I picked it over a happy 50th mug etc.... Normally I don't buy these types of things (with historical info on it) unless its a card- something smaller, so having the history info AND the age celebration on one blanket is great.
