I purchased this fire pit mat a couple days ago it came and I was very surprised. It was was packaged in this really nice black and gold plastic it looked so nice I even kept the bag it came out of. As for the mat itself looks to be made out of a very high end flame retardant material with a very nice logo stitched on it. I highly recommend the fire mat if you love to grill on your decks or patio it is a real life saver and is very easy to clean and put away if you need to it’s almost to nice to be outside. I must add that I am a professional pressure washer and I have seen the worst of grill and grease stains on decks and this mat is definitely what you want to have in that area to protect wood or concrete and your home.. ... show more

This mat is beautifully made. Whoever designed it had quality in mind because it's not thin like other mats or cheaply made. It's wide and sturdy. I like how it accent my grill while protecting my deck. It can pass for a nice looking rug. My husband has burnt our deck with hot coals in the past, so we needed something to protect our deck from fire and heat. I like it because it can be used for a BBQ grill mat for grilling outside or a fire pit mat because it's really thick. This mat will save us money in replacing wood on the deck or a fire breaking out! I recommend this mat for all grills or fire pits. ... show more
