This is a get what you paid for product. It’s awful. First time using it I smelled burning plastic which was especially concerning because the air coming from it was what I’d call hot. I decided to keep using it until I had something better but to my surprise less than 2 months in it stopped working. It over heats and the only way to get it to start working again is to remove the attachment and blow into it…that is unless you’re willing to wait 24 hours for it to cool down in between sections of hair. I think that the curling part works well if you have shorter hair - about shoulder length or so, longer hair, it doesn't seem to work as well. Of course, the hair gets dry and it's smooth, so it does have that going for you. I usually just use the brush portion, rather than the curls, but the curls worked fine. I bought this hair dryer/styler because I wanted something that would make brushing and styling easier without having to use a flat iron all the time. I also liked that it could do waves and curls since everything comes in one set. After using it around three times so far, I’ve been happy with the results. I mainly use it to dry and style my hair at the same time, and it definitely saves me time compared to using a dryer, brush, and flat iron separately. The attachments are easy to switch out, and the curling barrels actually give my hair a nice shape without too much effort. I also noticed my hair doesn’t end up looking as flat as it sometimes does with a straightener. I’m still figuring out which attachment works best for each style, but overall I’ve really liked the results. It may not fully replace higher-end professional tools, but for everyday use or getting ready quickly, it has been very practical and convenient for me. ... show more

The description in this says low speed, so if you have thicker hair or you want more long-lasting curls, this isn't going to work well for you.
