This hair dryer is a great dupe of a similar name brand product. The hair dryer alone is very effective at drying hair quickly, but the attachments are a game changer for achieving salon quality styles in moments. I've always struggled with styling my own hair, and with a little practice, this gadget has me feeling like a professional. The twisting barrel is a nice touch to reach difficult angles too! The included bag keeps all the pieces neat, and the glove is a smart addition. The drying brush adds shape without making hair stiff, and the curlers actually hold the curl well for hours. I have very fine hair and it breaks easy so I am always cautious about how hot my styling tools and blow dryer get. I typically have a blow dryer, flat iron and curling iron when I plan on getting all "dolled up". My bathroom was getting very cluttered with straighteners, curlers, volume brushes, etc, but this has basically taken care of all that. This 6 in 1 set is great. When straightened out, the main piece can be a curler for left or right bound curls, a volume brush, and a smoothing comb, which acts a bit like a straightener on my hair. Then, when bent at an angle, it's a blow dryer that can be used with a diffuser or concentrator nozzle attachment. All these work fairly well. The curlers don't curl quite as well as my regular curling iron, but they still do ok, and the smoother isn't quite as good as a flat iron. So if I want something super curly or really straight, I still bust out my old combo curler/straightener, but for adding some waves and getting the frizz down, this set performs well. The blow dryer is great, especially with the concentrator nozzle, and the volume brush is amazing. I especially love that this just uses hot air to style, so I won't accidentally cook my hair with direct heat. None of the pieces themselves heat up. So heat damage is less likely for me, and of course, it works on damp hair. So I don't have to worry about my hair being 100% completely dry before using this, unlike a lot of my direct heat hair stylers. This saves a lot of time not having to completely dry then style. Now, I can dry some and finish drying while styling my slightly damp hair. The plug is rated as Intertek ETL certified, so I can feel better about this not throwing a fuse or being unsafe for American outlets. The only thing this is missing is a bag to keep all the attachments in. While it's replaced a lot, it's still all over my shelf with loose attachments. A bag for all this would have solved that issue. However, performance wise, this has been great so far. ... show more
