The safe works and is as advertised. As is, any guns with optics will have issues; the safe just needs another inch of depth and they would fit fine.

    • Good budget safe, be careful with the interior size
The safe is surprisingly good quality, very well packaged and seemingly strong. For as big as it is, it's not super heavy although it seems pretty heavy duty. My only gripe about it is that the interior is a bit small. I don't take the scope or bipod off my guns when I put them away. With both on, the gun's don't fit. I have to take off the scope and angle the gun a bit to fit with the collapsible bi-pod. The red dot fits with the bi-pod, but at more of an angle. I wouldn't even try it with a mag in.     • Haven't problems set in my code.
When the safe came today it Didn't I have directions in the box. so I do not know how to set my code to the keypad. I can open it with the key and shut it with the key. But I cannot program a code to get in it.

I got the home designed one. The safe is a great budget safe. It does not fit scoped rides very well, it somewhat taps the gun how it sticks out but it is fine for what ones I have in it. I should have got the bigger one to keep more of my ammo in it but that's what ammo cases are for.
