Seems thick-walled enough to handle years of use. No leaks from either orifice cap/valve. Good proportions so you're not carrying a bulky, wide, weirdly shaped container. It comes with a thoughtful shoulder strap that connects to the top and side molded carrying handle. Seems like that will be pretty useful. I picked this product for its size and good reviews. The container is built well and survived 5 rough days of sailing. I really like the faucet feature. It fits the neck of the canteen and 1 gallon water bottles I used. It did not leak during the trip. I will say the vent worked great once you were able to open it. People with smaller fingers should not have a problem with the vent, people with larger fingers will take longer to open the vent. I got this because I do bee removals and wanted a water source to clean my hands when they are covered in honey and wax. The nozzle worked great so I don’t get the thing covered in honey. I was really shocked at how compact it is for a 5 gallons. I fill keep it in my truck and I’m always prepared
