I did not realize how much space I had when I received this safe. There’s plenty of room to store your valuables documents in any large items that you deem need to be secured. The dual key lock entry system is great as well as the combination also like the fact that it has the additional entry system adapter, if all else fails. The locking mechanism seems to be pretty solid and sound unlike other saves that are cheaply made, and that I purchased in the past. It’s thick enough I can see that it does have fire protection that I hope I’ll never have to use or try out. Arrived well packaged and without any damage. Box was somewhat messed up but product unscathed. Really like this one, I think worth the price. It’s not a bank safe but much better than expected for price point. Metal is thick enough to deter all but hardcore safe burglars. Door seam is too thin to attempt to pry. Locking feature is really cool. Can use code only, or require master key and code. Inner box has a key lock as well. Master and backup keys are high security cut keys. So if you really want to keep something secure, put in inner box, lock it. Lock safe with master key and code access. Important, to do code only, you simply leave master key lock in unlocked position, which then is code only. If you relock the master key lock, it’ll be that master key plus code. Nice! Bright light and nice material inside. 4aa batteries. Key hook on door. Nice shelf too. Comes with wall or floor anchors. Comes with rubber feet too. I’ve had lots of experience with these of late. This is a nice one to have. Lots of bolts for door too, including top and bottom of door. If I could give zero stars I would. Safe is literally a dummy safe. It will stay locked if it’s open but it will not stay locked when closed. It doesn’t matter if you use the key or the key pad, Wiggle the knob a few times and it comes right open. There is no customer service to call, only chat through Amazon. Which will have you unscrewing, taking things off, sending pictures, lubricating, springs, geeze I ordered a safe not build a bear. This is the worst safe I’ve ever owned. Research the safes find one with live customer service. I got the larger safe definitely not worth the money. Does not function properly at all. Very light weight. Sending back as soon as another one from a different manufacturer arrives. ... show more

This safe is quite good but with several shortfalls. 1. It is very light for a safe this size. Safe becomes very unstable (top heavy) with the door open making it necessary to secure it to a wall or floor. 2. The numeric keypad is unlit, making it necessary to utilize a flashlight to enter your pass code. Since most safes are located in a closet, trying to open your safe without sufficient external lighting is difficult. ... show more

The safe was delivered on time, but the box was not handled well so it had some exterior damages. However, the functionality of the safe was great. It was very easy to setup a pin, use the keys to open/ close, and store valuables. There was even a light inside to help see things!

I wanted a safe big enough for my needs but small enough to fit my space; this safe meets the need. It fits well next to a two drawer file cabinet. It offers a variety of opening methods using the number pad and two keys. This is one of those times you need to read the manual. Inside the safe is small lockbox integrated to the top with a key lock. This would be helpful for firearms, jewelry or other sensitive items. The locking bars are heavy duty.
