I got this so keep granola, chips, and flour in. This size is perfect for all three of these items. A 12 ounce by weight bag of corn chips filled one container about half full. No more using the vacuum sealer to reseal chip bags! These things are plenty spacious for holding most dry goods. I have to complain about the way these were shipped though. They came nested together with a thin plastic bag separating each bin. The nested containers created such an airtight seal that I thought I wasn't going to be able to separate them. I tried all kinds of methods, pulling on one edge (not effective), putting my fingers between two of them (not effective), gripping the bin lip with my feet and pulling with both hands on the top bin (also not effective), heating up the bottom bin with a hair dryer to cause the air to expand (sorta effective), and finally shoving a piece of 12 gauge insulated solid copper wire in between the bins to make a passage for air to get in (effective but you still have to pull on the top evenly from two sides). It took me something like 10 minutes to separate all four, with a lot of cursing. And then, just for you, I put two of them back together without the bag to see if they would separate more easily. Nope. More cursing and use of the wire. The moral of this story is, don't nest them once you get them apart! But, after they were all apart, they work great! The markings are only in metric though, not labeled for those of us in the only country in the world to still use ounces, quarts and gallons. Since I'm storing dry goods, I don't care. The markings are hard to see anyways. I do like that there were labels and a marker supplied, it would be good to label items that look similar but aren't the same, like rice flour from quinoa flour.

Perfect size for pantry organization. Wish there were something as far as handle of some sort to pick up with- heavy when full snd definitely can’t pick up from the top! Seal well and wash up easily!

Got my hands on these KEMETHY Large Food Storage Containers recently, and they're a real game changer for my kitchen organization! The pics on this product are a bit misleading. It makes the product look like it could be mistaken for acrylic which it is not. It looks like a regular plastic container with the locking lids. I will say though I am extremely happy with them. We always buy our cereal and stuff from wholesale stores which means we end up with big open bags of cereal and run the risk of them going stale if we don't eat it all quickly. I was very excited to order these containers as it would solve this problem for us. The lids really are air tight. The first few uses, the locks on the lids are a bit hard to snap in place but it does get easier. Each container easily holds one full big bag of cereal. These are definitely good quality at a decent price. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.

These containers are 5.7qt capacity and come in a pack of 4. They are shipped as stacked containers one into another and oh boy! it was so tough to separate them from one another. And also all the 4 lids were inserted into the top open container with one of the snap on clip bent to the opposite side, so I was afraid that they might break while bending to its original side. But luckily none of them broke. They come with a small sheet of labels and a chalk marker. One of the box I received had few scratches (on the inside of the container) on 3 sides of the container. It is not so clear in the pictures but in person the scratches are visible at a glance. Fortunately the other 3 containers were scratch free. Because of these above mentioned concerns, I had to take a star away. They are not completely transparent, they are kind of cloudy transparent. Coming to the functionality, the lids snap on easily onto the container and are easy to snap off. I tested the airtight quality of these containers by filling up one of the containers with water, put on the lid and inverted and shook it to see if any water falls through the lid, but not even a drop fell. So they are truly airtight. The plastic of the containers is not too thick or not too thin, it’s just in between and the jars seem sturdy. They are also dishwasher and microwave safe.

This is a 4 Pack of 5.4L Large Food Storage Containers. They have Lids that are Airtight. These can hold flour, sugar or anything else you want sealed. Great for the pantry as they all stack. Nice item.

It was very difficult to get these latched, and they seem like they'll break easy. I love the size of them (whole bag of Sweet potato chips from Costco). I'm just not convinced they will have good seals for very long.

I have other storage bins similar to these in various sizes, but these are my favorite because of the size. My other cereal storage bins are narrower but they are too tall for my shelves. I love that these are wider and shorter. I did remove a star because after trying for over an hour to separate all of them when they arrived I gave up! I thought I was going to have to request the services of the Incredible Hulk to get them apart. I finally had to have my husband separate them. I’ll never store them stacked together when they are empty, but I plan to keep them filled. I like the fact you can see what’s in them, but I also like the label for items that look similar. I liked the marker until my little dog decided to jump up on the counter and eat it one day! Now I use a piece of chalk which also works. It would be convenient if they came with a small scoop of some kind. They are nice and airtight and keep food fresh.
