We have a LOT of fence posts, and most of them are kinda grungy looking as they have been out in the weather for over 5 years. I wanted to dress up the posts that are around my garden area, and these looked like just the thing. They are made of aluminum and when I took them out of the box I was impressed with the quality. They feel lightweight but solidly built. There are no weird seems and all of the joints are smooth and it looks almost like they are powder coated. Really nice. They fit our standard 4x4 posts perfectly. Really easy to install, and because they have little screw holes on each side, they will not only stay put, but if the top of the post is uneven, you can adjust that problem using the screws. I am very pleased with these. Edit: I got a another set - the 5 piece set - and this set is just as good as the 6 piece set in every way. Great product.

These post caps were easy to install and look very nice. They are a little thinner than I expected, but I don’t anticipate that will affect their durability. They fit very well on my posts and are holding up well to wind and rain so far.

My husband is going to paint the fence posts black and he asked for these caps to finish them off. We live in Central Florida and I think these will help seal the tops of the posts so they don't get rained on and start deteriorating. The caps are light, but look like they'll hold up well. I have no reservations of them coming off during a Hurricane or equally bad storm because they'll be screwed into the posts. Overall, I think they're going to be that little extra that makes the whole fence look like it's more expensive than it is or professionally installed. A clean finish.
