Got these Wisdom Fly Lighting 12 Inch LED Ceiling Lights 4-pack to replace a few very old ring style florescent ceiling lights. Design is decent, plastic tray housing with mount plate, surface mount LED board, LED driver with wiring, and light spreader. There is no heat sink or venting over the LED driver, which seems like a design flaw. I'm disappointed there is no wiring interface to change color remotely, seems like it wouldn't cost much to expose a few sets of terminals, e.g. 6000k for work, 4000k evening, 3000k night mode. Build quality is average budget lighting, medium weight ABS plastic (toy grade). Functionality is decent, works mostly as expected, easy installation. Like many low cost off-white (non-phosphor) LED lights these emit a very diffuse light, such that it starts very bright then becomes inadequate at longer distances where many other types of lights would still be good enough (see lux data below). No flickering, this maybe a sign of LED driver overheating, wiring mistake, or external electrical problems (see notes below). Oddly power usage is below the 24W spec, at 125V the load is only 0.18A 22.5W nominal, it does startup surge to 0.28A 35W for a fraction of a second, and occasionally dips to 0.16A 20W for a few seconds, changing colors has no effect on load, also the back of the lights say voltage range is 85-277V but product page says 100-277V. There is no heat sink, the LED driver gets warm, near 100F with the light locked sideways in a test stand (dish rack) for 15 minutes while I gathered lux readings, and I'm concerned that surface mounted on a ceiling it may overheat thereby reducing service life, e.g. may last a few years instead of a decade-plus with adequate cooling. These are very light weight which may make them more useful in certain niche uses. Lux max readings on my Lycebell LC-881E light meter, ~10sec each: Color: <1in peak output, 1ft ceiling, 3ft head, 5ft counter top, 6ft desk/table, 8ft floor, 10ft low floor. 6000k: <1in 44200, 1ft 5930, 3ft 1020, 5ft 390, 6ft 274, 8ft 160, 10ft 107 4000k: <1in 41400, 1ft 6500, 3ft 1089, 5ft 449, 6ft 313, 8ft 183, 10ft 114 3000k: <1in 40600, 1ft 4490, 3ft 932, 5ft 386, 6ft 278, 8ft 148, 10ft 94.4 Best performance and default setting is 4000k, cleanest looking is 6000k but the cool blue may effect people's sleep at night. Cooling Suggestion: Do not surface mount, add an 1 to 2 inch offset block, like a 2x4 cutoff or couple drywall pieces, roughly matched in size to the mounting plate but clear of the LED driver (oval panel), and replace the oval panel cover with a patch of non-metallic window screen, that cover has the specifications so duct tape it to the back near the opposite edge where it's coolest. Flickering Advise: Double check the wiring, live is black to brown, neutral is white to blue, those little orange latches pull out to 90 degrees, if opened less than that it may not lock in the wires causing shorts. Check the temperature of the LED driver (oval panel on back), if it's too hot the components maybe breaking down, check if it smells like hot or burnt electronics, or if that little capacitor (can) looks swollen, or if anything looks discolored. Check for nearby noise sources, like appliances, florescent transformers, etc. Use a multimeter to check neutral against ground for wild voltage swings, maybe a short or odd behavior in something else on the circuit, also test on an otherwise unused circuit, e.g. a power breaker panel circuit with only a single outdoor outlet so nothing else on the line can cause interference. Check the power quality, this requires an advanced multimeter or oscilloscope to check the AC wave form, if it's distorted then that may cause all sorts of problems, especially in consumer electronics with lower quality power supplies. Test on a true sine wave uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or high quality inverter, something which shows a good quality smooth wave in it's product pictures. Price point is a above average compared to similar lights. Overall, 4 stars, decent budget LED lights, diffuse light, LED driver cooling concern.

This 4 pack of Wisdom Fly Lighting is a great price for quality lights. Each of the lights has a diameter of 11 3/4:" and are only 1" thick. These are great lights for laundry rooms, closets, hallways and other areas that need light and not a fan. The lights have no-flicker LED's which is a great factor for anyone who may have migraines or seizures trigger from inconsistent lighting. The wiring comes with an easy clip to hook the power and neutral wire in, has 3 mounting screws for each light and you have the option to mount to a box or the ceiling. The lights each have three different brightness choices which can be chosen by using a switch that is placed on the bottom of the light. Highly Recommended!!

Although they didn't fit my box exactly, it could be because mine are 70 years old. I made it work without any difficulty. I didn't use the included connector because it didn't seem very secure, so I used wire nuts instead. The light is very bright, certainly an upgrade from the old fixture I had. I haven't had any flickering issues as some others have, and I've only installed one so far, so I can't comment on what may cause that for those who have. The fixtures are very nice and sleek though. I ordered black, but got white, so subtracted one star, but no biggie, they look good anyway!

These lights are very bright. There's no flicker that I can see, and the color temperatures are perfect. Installation is easy. They come with lever nuts for the wiring, which are awesome if you've never used them. They're way nicer than the push connectors or regular wire nuts. They're also more expensive than either, so it was a surprise to see them included. There's no UL listing or ETL Listed marks on the packaging or the lights themselves. A check of publicly available databases for both turned up nothing for this model number. The manufacturer does have other items in the ETL database, so perhaps the certifications are pending.

Using these to replace large closet lights that were 6" circline enclosed florescent fixtures, looking to improve lighting, get more natural color light, take up less room, and stop replacing lamps. Installation was easy, and went quickly. I had no problems, and the wire clips (if you know how to open them) work well. Quicker than wire nuts, and solid grip on wire. I set it on the 4000K color temp to have natural daylight rendition. Nice and bright with even light distribution. These really hug the ceiling. Worry a bit about heat, but the old fixtures were enclosed, and their ballast got plenty hot, too. That super low profile also adds some room on top shelves for taller items for me. No real complaints. At $15/each in pack of four (as of 09-June-2023), price seems fair. Might shop and maybe find some a little cheaper, if at any. I'm good with what the price on these.

I used these to replace several older light fixtures in my home. Installation is super simple - you only need to connect two wires and the unit comes with quick splice connectors. You simply screw in the small mounting adapter, connect the wires and attach the light to the mounting adapter. You can set the color temperature to warm (3000k), white (4000k) and bright white (6000k) via a tiny switch in the housing. I used the middle setting. The size of this unit is large and the light is plenty bright. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a great multipack of ceiling mounted flush light fixtures. It has multiple white color options from a cooler (bluer) white to a warmer white. It's perfect for the kitchen, garage, or closets because it's plenty bright. That being said, these do not dim so you'll have to find something else if you want a dimming light fixture. The lights are also very flexible in terms of mounting solutions. The mounting plate is large enough for a 4 inch junction box. It can probably be a direct replacement for most older E26 light fixtures around the house (as that's what I'm using them for). I've attached a couple of photos here. I hope this helps!
