I really like these ratchet tie-down straps; I used them to hang my sunshade. I wasn't entirely sure about the clip design at first, since it's not a full carabiner, but I actually found I prefer the flexibility the bendable part of the clip offers. The rope itself is good quality and feels plenty strong. I also appreciated the way the knot was done where the hook connects to the rope. I was able to eyeball how it was tied, detach the hook, run the rope through the grommets on my sunshade, and then reattach the hook securely. Everything has held strong since then. Ultimately, I'm really happy with this set. It came as a four-pack, and I only needed two for this job, so now I have a couple of spares for future uses, which is always handy.

Really handy to tie down items fast. When used with rubber straps it's easy to cinch them up tight. Makes any length easy to fit.

Clicks loud and solid as it pulls tight. Holds really well. I would recommend to retie all the knots before use, as they were pretty loose knots. I may just replace my ropes with longer ones.

I can't say enough good things about these tie down straps. I've been using ratchet straps my whole life for securing loads in my trucks and though they work great for securing large and heavy loads, I'd say the majority of the time, I just need to keep something from sliding around or from blowing out of my truck. These rope ratchet straps are the perfect solution and I'm already a huge fan. The mechanism that locks the rope down is nice and strong when under tension but easily releases with a push on the lever. They cinch down easily and because they move so smoothly on the internal pulley, you can really get a good pull and cinch them down nice and tight. One little thing that I really love is that you can pull the rope through the pulley all the way through until both of the ratchet hooks are basically touching each other. I can't do that with normal ratchet straps so securing small things to close attachment points requires a little more creativity. These things are simple to use, high quality, work great and are inexpensive ($13.99 for a set of four at the time of this review). Though ratchet straps will still be better for large and heavy loads, these are perfect for about 90% of my uses and are my new go-to solution that I can use to secure just about anything. I'm definitely going to be getting more of these for all my vehicles. I would definitely recommend them.

I initially got these for kayak use, but I have found them to be useful in may other ways. Great for tie downs, but I'm also using them in the garage to raise and lower objects for storage, attached to the ceiling. They are easy to use, and so far they seem very durable. I wouldn't put a heavy load on them, but for less than $4 each, they are great for light duty work. Will end up ordering a few more sets for sure.
