  • Great
These night vision binoculars from Warmtuyo FAR exceeded my expectations for a pair of night time binocs. The picture on these is amazingly clear and I can actually see into the far corners of my very large and very dark yard. This is going to come especially handy during skunk season. These binoculars are very easy to use but read the directions. The directions are brief, easy to read, and will keep you from pressing the wrong button for what you're trying to do and imagining the poor quality picture you're seeing is all these can do. This experience per my husband who said "I don't need directions" then said "these are not good quality." After less than 5 minutes and some directions I found these to be incredibly good quality! I really like the ability to turn the infrared up/down by 9 different brightness levels. Looking at something somewhat close up on level 9 will just about blind you. Thank goodness for lower light levels. I live on a lake and can see all the way across the lake with level 9 (a much more appropriate use). This is great! I'll be able to see what's howling on the other shore in the middle of the night now in addition to what's in my yard. The manual focus works well. I like that the wheel is recessed so I don't accidentally bump it. I also REALLY like that these have a screen instead of being something I put up to my eyes. There is no potential for nausea from me shaking the binoculars while I'm using them. I am pretty much looking at a little video camera screen. The photo and video options are very nice to be able to save and share what I have seen. The image quality is more than reasonable and the images/video are easy to transfer to my computer. Just pop out the little memory card and pop it into a reader. I really thought this was going to be a cheap, glorified camera with night vision but it's far better than that. The only improvement I would make is to include a case but that is far from a deal breaker and I can find my own. ... show more

  • Fun toy, not a binocular, not a goggle
This handheld night vision camera is fun, but there are some annoyances with the function and advertised features. To start, although the product name in the listing says "Night Vision Binoculars" and the box it came in states "Night Vision Goggles", it is neither of these. There's no strap and the screen is too close to the eyes and not mounted deep enough to allow someone to hold it or strap it to their forehead to use as "goggles", and there is only one screen and one camera, so it is a "monocular", not a "binocular" and you can not get a sense of depth perception with the monocular image. When I first got it out of the box, I thought it was defective because it wouldn't power on when I pressed the power button on top- I had to refer to the instruction manual to find out that there's a second power switch located underneath a rubber flap on the bottom of the unit. Interestingly, the manual states that you shouldn't turn off the power switch on the bottom or it will lose/reset your settings. I accidentally forgot and switched it off with the bottom switch and then back on and didn't lose the time and resolution customization I had made. So perhaps that only happens if you leave the switch off for longer. Another issue that is not unique to this device (anyone who has tried to use IR security cameras through a window will recognize this) but which you should be aware- the camera is so sensitive to light that if you try to use it looking through a window from a room that is not completely dark, you'll see reflections, and if you try to use the IR-lighted modes from behind a window, the IR light will just bounce off the glass and back to the sensor, making it difficult to impossible to see anything. So it is most useful when you and the items you're trying to see are outside without any panes of glass or reflective surfaces between you. The field of view also leaves a little to be desired. The "1x" zoom setting does appear to make images on the 3" screen of items that look the same size as your eyes can see from the same position, but I wish it could actually go a bit wider. The zoom setting increases in increments of 1x from 1-10x, but to my eyes, the 10x setting looks to be closer to about 2-3x? It's definitely not 10x. Items appear about twice the size (pixel doubling?). Although my phone's 1x zoom setting is wider than this device, when I go to 8x digital zoom on the phone, it does appear that an object taking up 1/8th of the screen is enlarged to take up the whole screen, and that's what I would have expected for the zoom on this camera. I haven't had a need to record photos and videos, but I think this device is best suited towards uses where you want to throw it in a backpack (you might want a soft bag or case so the recessed lenses don't get scratched) and bring it on a night hike, or go camping, and see what types of wildlife you can see. My kids will have some fun with it in that scenario. Or if you live in a more rural environment (but it's unfortunately missing an option to record on motion, so you could set it up on a tripod and record for a few hours until the battery runs out or the SD card fills up, but you'd have to scrub through a lot of footage to find the animals). In an urban/city area, frankly, people would be weirded out and you might get accused of nefarious things if you are walking around staring into this without a very visible/good use case. At almost $100 price at the time of this review, and recognizing that everyone has different goals/needs, you'd want to decide if your use case is worth it, given the limitations. ... show more

  • Great for a beginner
I recently tried out the 4K Night Vision Binoculars and was really impressed with the overall performance for the price. The 3.0" HD display offers sharp clarity, making it easy to identify details, whether I’m using it during the day or at night. The 9 IR brightness levels give me flexibility in various lighting conditions and the 850NM infrared illuminator provides solid visibility in low light, allowing me to see clearly even in complete darkness. The 10X digital zoom combined with the rolling focus wheel makes it simple to hone in on faraway objects with minimal effort. I also found the anti-shaking feature quite effective, ensuring steady images even at maximum zoom. And the illuminated buttons make it easy to use in the dark. Another standout is the battery life. It can get up to 12 hours of use in daylight mode, and the infrared mode lasts anywhere from 4 to 10 hours depending on the IR brightness. With a 3500mAh battery, I never had to worry about the binoculars running out of power quickly. The 36MP stills are sharp and high quality, and the included 32GB TF card gives me plenty of storage for photos and videos but you can go up to a 256GB card. They are light and are beginner quality, but the design is well thought out with a standard camera screw mount for easy attachment to a tripod. All in all, these binoculars provide excellent value for anyone needing reliable day and night vision in various conditions. Came with a cleaning lens cloth, strap and charging cable. ... show more
