This is a good set of basic steel tip darts weighing in at 24 grams. The materials used are common tungsten alloy for the barrel with plastic shafts, flights, rubber "O" rings that help keep the shaft tight onto the barrel. Additionally, you get flight protectors that you place onto the flight's end in between 2 of the wings - I do use these as it helps prevent damage to the flights should another dart should hit it. There (3) metal spring "o" rings you can place onto the shaft just below the flight to help keep the flight in place. Note: The dart’s shafts ends (where you insert the flight) all had to be pried open in order to start sliding the flight onto the shaft. The dart's barrel does have knurling machined onto it and the feel/handling does provide a bit more grip when throwing the dart. Grip placement and throwing style all impact the flight profile you're looking for. The dart case is all plastic and not user friendly - hard to remove the spare flights and when you open the case it's difficult to discern which of the sides you have to pull open. Note: Darts are very type specific to the user - These darts are a good fit for beginners or the occasional player. Finding the right dart for you requires your experimenting with different types of darts (Barrel length, design, and thickness etc. in addition to types of shafts, flights and accessories). This WayArrival Professional Steel Tip Darts Set checks all the right boxes as a nicely balanced kit for my dartboard evenings. The 24g darts provide a solid feel in the hand, and the set includes all the extras—plenty of shafts, flights, and a handy case—which means less scrambling for spares when a nephew swings by and sends half my flights into orbit. Setup is quick, and each dart sits well in my grip, leading to (slightly) improved accuracy, which my neighbor will attest to during our weekend tournaments. The set played out perfectly during last Friday’s game night. I appreciated being able to swap the flights out after a couple of aggressive throws, and the metal tips held up without any inconvenient bending. Everything fits into the case, so after a couple of friendly matches, packing up was a breeze and nothing was left behind falling between couch cushions. If there’s a catch, some folks might notice the barrel texture is a bit slick at first. For me, a subtle reminder that perhaps my grip isn’t as youthful as it once was, but after a few tosses and adjusting my hold, no issues. Yet another chance to refine my form. ... show more

These darts have larger barrels than I am used to. They feel balanced and comfortable in the hand, making them easy to throw with control. They have a solid, professional feel. They fly well and maintain accuracy on sisal or bristle boards. They are NOT suitable for plastic dartboards.     • Not Pro darts, they are beautifully painted brass and very large diameter body for 24 g darts.
These are brass darts painted, not professional. Therefore they are huge in diameter compared to what they should have been if were Tungsten. They are good looking and a lot of accessories for the price, but as I said they are not pro darts.
