The media could not be loaded. Exhaust fans tend to be loud and bulky or inefficient. They are also usually hardwired into an area where a switch is used to control it. This fan is somewhat unique in that it has a plug and its own built-in switch, so it can easily be used in temporary locations where another fan wouldn't be appropriate. As for noise, I measured this as being around 70 decibels from one and a half feet away. That's pretty quiet. In a typical area where this would be installed, ambient noise from other things in the area would be as loud as this fan. Check the video clip to get an idea of how quiet that is. This comes with a section of 4” accordion hose and two pipe clamps, so it might have everything you need to hook it up and put it to use. It rings smoothly, so I hope it will last for the long haul.

I bought this axial fan kit specifically for my 3D printing setup. My Ender 3v2 sits on a rolling cart in my second bedroom and even with PLA I like having extra ventilation since I run long prints and sometimes use resin or solder in the same room. This fan has made a noticeable difference in keeping the air clear and reducing lingering smells. The kit includes everything I needed including the fan the flexible hose the switch and basic mounting hardware. The fan housing feels solid and the blades look well balanced. The hose is lightweight but holds its shape. It is not industrial grade but it is more than enough for hobby use. Installation was straightforward. I attached the fan to a small plywood panel I cut and fitted into the window when printing. The switch is convenient because I can power everything on from the same corner of the room. The airflow is stronger than I expected for a 4 inch fan. It pulls heat and fumes out quickly and I can feel the difference in temperature around the printer after an hour long session. Noise wise it is noticeable but not irritating. It has a steady hum that fades into the background once you are used to it. I often run it while working on my computer or relaxing in the living room and it does not bother me. For the price it is honestly a fantastic value. Anyone with a hobby space grow tent small workshop or 3D printer will appreciate how much air this little unit moves. It is easy to set up reliable and strong enough to make a real difference.

I’m using this 4-inch axial fan kit in a small grow tent, and overall it’s been a good experience so far. Setup was straightforward, and I liked that it came with the ducting and clamps so I didn’t have to buy extra parts. For its size, it moves a decent amount of air. I use it mainly for ventilation and heat control, and it’s been doing a solid job keeping fresh air flowing. The fan feels well made, not flimsy, and the motor runs smoothly without any rattling. Noise level is reasonable. You can hear it running, but it’s more of a steady airflow sound than anything annoying. I have it plugged into a smart plug and control it with Alexa, which makes it easy to turn on and off without opening the tent all the time. Size-wise, it’s compact and fits well in a smaller setup, which is exactly what I was looking for. Functionally, it does what it’s supposed to do without overcomplicating things. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that it’s a simple on/off fan with no speed control, so you get full power all the time. That’s not a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind depending on your setup. Overall, it feels like a good value for the money, especially for beginners or anyone running a small tent who wants reliable airflow without spending a lot. This exhaust fan kit has worked well for venting my 3D printer enclosure and keeping the room from smelling like burnt plastic while printing PLA. The fan moves plenty of air for this application and clears fumes quickly, which makes a noticeable difference during longer prints. Functionality is exactly what I needed since it actively pulls air out of the enclosure and vents it outside instead of letting odors and fine particles linger in the room. The build quality of this fan is excellent, there are a few small considerations that make installing and using this fan especially convenient. The small taper at the intake and exhaust goes a long way to save you time setting up this unit and attaching ducting. There are multiple mounting points drilled out on the frame as well, giving plenty of options to suit your needs. The preinstalled cable and switch mean you won't need to worry about setup or need any specialty tools, it's ready to go out of the box with all wiring done for you, including the ground wire. The body itself is constructed of all metal, giving it extra rigidity and durability. I've been using this fan as a fume extractor for a small workshop, it's a massive help for that extra peace of mind when working with 3D printers and soldering. The included ducting also makes it that much easier to get this unit setup and running right away. All that being said, this is a remarkably powerful fan for it's size, I've had no issues with air flow even after adding a charcoal filter to the exhaust. I may also remove the tailpipes to add a seal or gasket to ensure there are no leaks, but that's another consideration they've taken, giving you that modularity to take this fan a step further in performance.
