I did not need a whole lot of flow so I knew these weren't the most powerful fans going into it. They pull plenty of air through just fine, I have 1 pulling in and the other out. Air flow is just right and is all I really needed. The biggest concern I had was the noise, and these you won't have any problems with. They are super quiet. They were also fairly easy to install, I had to have someone help me to hold it in place while I tightened the tent vent hole around it, but overall easy. Operation is simple: install and plug in. Can't get much more simple than that. I do not have mine on a timer, but I'm sure they would do just fine. I may end up going that route soon, but for now they're on 24/7. ... show more

Hooked up to a simple temperature switch to pass air into a small unconditioned, but insulated space to keep the space from freezing. Worked extremely well and perfectly.....for 3 years nearly to the date. For the intermittent, seasonal use this has seen, I'd expect the motor to last several, several years. Now it's 50% more expensive. I guess I have a decision to make. Take a chance again on an otherwise good fan or go with a different (same) import part. You choose. ... show more

A lot more powerful that the description said. Like 2x more. They are loud, I use them to ventilate a room off the garage so I don't care so much, but good to keep in mind. Put foam in your ductwork to mitigate the noise.

Well I have to say I am very impressed with this very affordable lightweight fan! Soon as I got it, I hooked it up to two distillers to pull some ventilation it was running 120°. Now I got it in line for some of that cold Alaskan Air cool off my girl!! Well definitely get another one.

Lasted well over 5 years. I bought both and they both went out within a month of each other so if you buy this you can at least get 4 years out of it. Noise wasn't bad at all sounded like a small fan. and it pushed the correct cfm. satisfied 7.5/10
