I bought this mainly for traveling with my kids and wanted something simpler than dealing with local SIM cards every trip. Setup ws easy, and it connected our phones and tablets without issues. The free starter datawas enough for maps, messages, and basic browsing after landing. Battery life is decent, and the size is smal enough to keep in a backpack or pocket. This hotspot is actually really convenient for traveling and family outings. The setup was surprisingly simple, and I liked not having to mess with SIM cards or carrier activation. It connected quickly and worked well for basic browsing, streaming, and keeping multiple devices online while away from home. The battery life is decent too, and being able to connect a bunch of devices at once is helpful when traveling with kids carrying tablets and handhelds. The portable size makes it easy to toss into a bag or keep in the car for emergencies. What buyers really need to pay attention to though are the reload charges after the included data runs out. The “free” data sounds great upfront, but once you burn through it, the extra data packages can get expensive fast. If you use a lot of streaming, gaming, or downloads, that included amount disappears much quicker than you’d expect. Speeds were okay for regular use, but not always amazing depending on signal strength and location. It’s definitely more of a convenience travel hotspot than a replacement for strong home internet. Overall, it’s a useful little device and great for occasional travel or backup internet, but make sure you understand the ongoing data costs before buying because that’s where this gets pricey.

Nicely packaged, and the quality is pretty good. It comes with a bag for me to carry around with. Seems pretty easy to get started. Six months is about $10-15 per month, which is much cheaper than using traveling roaming- att costs me 35 per 7 days.

Easy to use and setup, there was zero hassle with activation or sim swapping and such. This device powers on and just works without any need to register. Now I do want to be clear in my review that a device like this is meant for traveling but you can use something like this as your day to day internet at home but the cost will be a bit high. The 1GB/Mo plan is decent for audio and general web browsing but it is easy to work through that quickly in the modern web era. Purchasing a plan upgrade is easy and there are different options such as country or region specific plans. The only letdown was that there is no global upgraded plan. Why give out 6GB of global data and not sell any global data packages? They do offer unlimited packages for specific countries. Connecting to the wifi is easy with a simple password or the included QR code. Once connected, you are limited to 4G cellular but this is advertised as such. Download speeds for my area are on par with my personal cell service at 4G at roughly 10Mbps but this is enough speed for general web browsing for two devices and maybe streaming. The built in display takes a minute to show data usage but the webpage to purchase more data has a near live view of data usage for the device. One last thing of note, going to 192.168.0.1 will allow you to log in with the default username/password of admin/admin and change the passwords for everything and name of the WiFi to be more secure. Overall, this is a great deal for the money and is super easy to travel with.
