  • The best find
Set name: Wi-Fi Set
I needed a camera to watch for my puppy at the back steps to let me know when she is ready to come in. This camera is so perfect. I can see in areas that i could not see with my ring camera. The fact that I can control the camera just blew me away. I can now find her in areas I could not at first. Also, the fact that I can do this without having to pay any fees is huge! ... show more

I needed these for my salon suite and it worked perfectly. Easy camera setup. Clear pic. App was easy to setup. I can peek in and make sure my lights are off or get notified if someone walks up to the door. Works as expected

  • Excellent Indoor Security Camera — Super Sensitive & Truly Reliable!
This indoor home security camera is absolutely awesome. It sends instant notifications for even the slightest movement within its radius — nothing goes unnoticed. I’m genuinely impressed by how sensitive and accurate the motion detection is. Even tiny sounds are captured perfectly, which gives me complete peace of mind when monitoring my home. The video quality is clear, the alerts are fast, and the overall performance is far better than I expected for an indoor camera. It works flawlessly day and night, and the responsiveness makes it feel like a premium device. If you’re looking for a high-performing indoor security camera that catches every detail, this one is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended — definitely a 5‑star product! ... show more

  • Better than expected
I do not know a lot about security cameras. This unit was specifically recommended by a friend for being fairly inexpensive yet simple to use and easy to maintain. It took me a while to work up the gumption to try to install it. Won’t lie. Once I did, I was pleased with how easy it was to get it going. Negative and why loss of star- I had to keep within about 15 feet or so from the window where my Wi-Fi sits or I did not have good reception. So many, many points of my house I could not attempt to install it at all. I brought it back inside to charge but have not installed it as I’m unsure where in that limited range would do me the best good. I wanted to view people coming to the front door so I would know who was here. This placement was just outside of signal range. I do not want to buy a Wi-Fi signal booster nor do I want to move the Wi-Fi system so these decisions have ultimately made me change my plan overall as to what I want to do with outside security cameras. After researching more, I bought another type of floodlight security cameras to replace my existing floodlights as it appears I only need the Wi-Fi to set them up and then it does not use Wi-Fi to work. They have not arrived but once those are in place, I will install this camera unit to capture what I am not getting from the new flood light security cameras. Or I’ll install it at my mom or dads home, if they want me too. They will appreciate this cameras simplicity. I was not keen on this idea of replacing my perfectly fine, but non security camera flood lights, as I’m a women with very little electrical experience and I did not want to have to get this elaborate. <<I plan to replace the four existing flood lights now, two of which are second floor height, so yeah, I’ll need a big ladder (go brave me!)>> However, once I saw the images on my phone from this little security camera guy, I thought it was pretty cool and I could see value in having a more extensive coverage of the outside for watching out for the kiddos when they are outside and I’m inside cooking and for general security of the home. It was clear that this little guy needs constant good Wi-Fi single which isn’t realistic for placement around outside of my home, so I would need something different than what this camera can do, hence the floodlight security camera seemed the best option as the wiring is already setup beneath existing units so no fooling with how to power the camera. I will have to pay a monthly service fee for the floodlight security cameras though. Kinda of a poor attempt to review without much use of camera yet, so I plan to update it after I’ve used it for a while. What I liked out of the box, was it is simple to use, image appeared good when checking options to install it (by signal strength) and holding my phone at same time to see what I was getting. I liked I could view images on my phone, there were not any wires to mess with and it held onto images later on when looking at app (from my attempt to figure out where I wanted to put it), it appears easy to remove from install area to bring inside to charge up, and I liked that there was not a need to pay for a monthly service to use it. I think the value was high for what you get and for the simplicity I was after was true to its word. Got to give it props for that. I’ll try to review more after I truly install it. ... show more

  • Downgrading Review after both cameras have died
UPDATE #2 Wish I could give a negative number of stars. Below you'll see the problem I had with 1 of the 2 cameras I bought and the trouble I had with the company, so I won't repeat. The second camera worked well until last week. It will no longer connect to WIFI. In case you're wondering if user error or my wifi, I tried connecting it to different wireless locations AND made sure other items were connecting. So in less than 1 year, it failed. It was also kept on a covered porch where it never even got wet. Just don't buy these crappy things. DISAPPOINTING UPDATE (see original review below) I've now had the cameras for a several weeks and unfortunately beyond the return window. One of the cameras will not recharge. I plugged in the cord, and nothing. I tried another cord. I tried another adapter. I tried different combinations. Nothing. I brought in the other camera and plugged it in. It recharged like a champ in a few hours!!! So I knew I had a good adapter/cord combination. I plugged back in the problematic camera. With considerable jiggling, I got the charge light to turn on, but 9 hours later, the camera had gone from 3% to 9%. :( I emailed support with the information I just shared with you and received a pretty prompt response from the Chinese company. Fast forward to half a dozen more emails with the company asking me multiple times to try a different cable and to send videos (which I've done) clearly indicating that they are not reading my emails. So I have 1 working camera and a small brick. Sad, because I was going to buy a 3rd camera to watch over our pool. Now I'll be looking for 3 cameras from an entirely different vendor. Also, as an update, I need to underscore what I put in my original post below. The wifi reception, well, it really does suck. If the vendor comes thru and offers to replace or refund the camera, I would update the review. But right now, I must unfortunately advise, strong, to avoid these cameras. A 50% failure rate and bad customer support is not acceptable. *****Original Review Below***** I purchased 2 of these to monitor our front and back doors. In less than 30 minutes, I was ready to send them back. But I'm an IT guy, so I decided to see if I could figure out the issues. Now I'm keeping them. Here's what I found. On the positive side, the cameras are small, wireless, and the image quality is excellent. Sound quality is solid. The battery life is better than I expected. On the negative side, the directions are pathetic. The Chinese translator could have done a better job. While the setup instructions are passable, there are no instructions/guidance for tweaking the performance of the cameras. This is why I was ready to return them. The out-of-the-box setting repeatedly failed at detecting motion. With some tweaking using the app, I've sufficiently improved the motion detection. It's still not perfect, however, and if you want 100% detection, this camera may frustrate you. Most days it will detect a delivery guy, and then randomly it will miss one. Also on the frustrating side is the WIFI connection. I have a router 6' from the front door camera. One day it has 48% signal strength, the next day it's at 98%. If the signal drops below 50%, you get an annoying message that signal strength is low. Sometimes when I try to connect to a camera, the connection will initially fail, and I have to retry. Retry has always worked, however. I don't know how much of this is the camera's fault and how much is my WIFI, but I'm pretty sure it's the camera, because I don't have issues with my phone's connectivity. Please note that you must get the SD card if you want to record video from the camera. The cards are easy to install. Also, to charge the camera you'll need your own phone "block" to plug the charging cable into. The app is passable. It could be improved by better guidance on how to tweak the settings. But these tweaks can greatly improve your experience. I would also really like to be able to connect to the cameras with a web browser. This would be a great improvement. So, not perfect, but passable for my basic security monitoring needs. ... show more

  • Great camera
Set name: Wi-Fi Set
We’ve tried a lot of security cameras over the years because we have a large amount of land to cover, and this one has honestly impressed us more than any of the others. The video quality is SO much clearer, and being able to pan and tilt the camera directly from my phone gives us way more coverage without needing multiple cameras in one spot. One of my favorite features is the 2-way audio because I can actually speak through the camera from my phone no matter where I am. It gives a huge sense of security and convenience. I was also really surprised by how well the quality held up during storms and bad weather. The picture stayed clear, notifications still came through, and it continued working great even with heavy rain and wind. The solar charging has been a huge plus too because we don’t have to constantly mess with batteries or wiring. Setup was simple, the app has been easy to use, and overall this camera has exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be purchasing more for other areas of our property! ... show more

  • Verdict Still Out, One Month In
Set name: White Set
Purchased 3 cameras for outdoor recording and have had them in operation for about a month now. First the good.....as others have said, cameras were easy to set up and app is easy to use. The price is right and the video quality is pretty good in color and 2K. I wasn't as happy with the SD black & white setting. They are easily mounted and small enough to not be that noticeable. They are also easy to remove to take down and charge (except for having to get the ladder out every few days to remove a camera for charging). I am still not sure how I feel about these cameras overall. I want to love them because the price is right (and the cloud subscription isn't that costly, either). However, the old adage "you get what you pay for" creeps into my mind as well. Recording in SD isn't quality enough video for me. I feel it doesn't capture people so that they are recognizable, especially after dark. So, I have mine all set to record in 2K. Whether this is what drains my batteries faster than they should, I suppose it is a factor. I get considerably less than a week on a charge. For instance, one of the cameras was charged yesterday, and today it is already down to 54%. The cameras catch all of the neighborhood road traffic, so I assume that is another reason for the short battery life. Not really a way to aim them so that doesn't happen, as I want to have video of my whole front yard. If I aim one at my driveway, it's getting the road traffic, too. No choice. Two instances I have not been particularly happy about....ok 1, and the other is kind of a what the heck moment...I had a political sign stolen from my yard over night, which is one of the reasons I decided to pull the trigger at this point in time on the purchase of video cameras in the first place, even though we had discussed getting some for many months. Anyway, when I reviewed the video from the camera that would have captured the theft, I found that one video had the sign in place and the next video in the sequence had the sign missing. There was no in between of the actual theft. This miss of the important event made me change motion detection to high on the cameras, however I have since changed it back to medium so I preserve battery. The what the heck moment happened a couple of days ago, when the camera that is focused on my driveway captured the Amazon delivery person pull into the drive and get out of his car. The camera that would have captured him on my front porch caught nothing, even though the front porch is part of that camera's focus. I will also note that the power button on the bottom of these cameras is tiny and is press and hold style to turn on or off. It is very difficult to press and hold the button for long enough for the camera to actually turn on or off (makes an audible tone when it happens). The buttons are under a flap that also covers the charging port, rightfully so, but I struggle trying to keep the flap open and also push and hold the small button long enough to turn on or off because it takes several seconds for the process. These cameras also take hours to charge. I believe this is noted in the instructions, but it literally takes a good chunk of a day to get a camera that is low (15% or so) back to a full charge...I would say 6 hours at least. This is inconvenient if you discover later in the day that the camera requires charging, because you either let it run out mid-overnight or lose overnight coverage to charge. The cameras supposedly allow for known vehicles, which I have marked....numerous times. Each time our vehicles are captured, I am presented with a "Do you know this vehicle?" question. I cannot tell you how many times I have answered that question for our two vehicles. It doesn't seem to remember the previous answer to the same question about the same vehicles. I haven't had a lot of luck with tech support. A chat feature is offered, but no one is ever online. The offer in the chat feature to type in your question for review when someone is available is fruitless, because I have not gotten an answer using that method. I did receive an email response on one of my questions, but it simply offered the common sense things that had already been tried. I haven't attempted to call, I prefer email or chat, and the things I've had questions about aren't important enough for me to hang on hold (that is a generalization, as I said, I haven't tried). All of this being said, I know what I paid for these cameras, and maybe I shouldn't expect as much as I do. But, it may have been wasted money in the long run, if I don't become satisfied enough soon and instead decide to look again at something maybe a little more high end. I'm giving a 4 star to not be too mean, because at a level, these cameras are functioning. Just maybe not at the level I had hoped. UPDATE 10/24/2024 (~1.5 months after install). In an effort to not use so much battery, I began using sleep mode on my cameras by setting up a schedule. I noticed that 2 of my cameras were not auto entering sleep mode, so I emailed tech support on 10/15/24. One week later and I am still going back and forth with tech support via one email a day from them, trying to determine the problem. Won't bore you with the details, just wanted to state another issue I have come across with these cameras and also my dealing with tech support. UPDATE 10/24/2024 (~1.5 months after install). UPDATE: as of today (10/31/24) I am still working with tech support via email to resolve the sleep schedule issues I mentioned above. At their request, I reset one of the cameras to factory default and once I did, I noticed that a free feature for notification of people, pet or vehicle, that is a setting option on my other 2 cameras (that weren't reset aka updated), requires a paid subscription to receive that benefit now. So they took away free functionality that made it easier to identify any of the videos that had a person in them at a glance and now require a monthly payment of $4.49 per device or $9.99 for all devices. I am beginning to loathe these cameras and wish I'd spent more for quality and am also downgrading my rating by a star. ... show more
