I wasn’t wanting a solar panel with mine as I planned on using it as a barn cam for my mares that are due to foal so I can keep a closer eye on them, and I was pleased to realize you don’t have to use the solar panel, and can use just a cord and plug it in. Great quality picture and I live remote and it has cell service.

What I liked the best about this camera was that I could control it remotely from my iPhone and change the view of the camera when I wasn’t at home . It definitely can get a would be prowler or unwanted guests attention with the flashing lights and alarm sound if that’s what you wanted to do or just video them quietly without their knowing it was even there . The quality of the video is excellent compared to some other camera that I’ve tried and using it wireless with solar power makes installing it pretty simple !

1. One of the antennas came in the box broken off. The camera still functioned with only one antenna attached. 2. Instructions were good to get the camera to sync with the Cloudedge app and to install the camera and solar panel. Very minimal information on how to use the camera. One has to play with the app to figures things out. 3. There is not web site for the FONDAIL company only an email address. 4. The camera did work well and had a clear picture and good zooming. 5. Rotating the camera worked well but there is a lag time between commands and actual camera movement. This is not a significant problem. 6. There is no explanation regarding how much free cellular data you get before paying for a data plan. Overall this is a good camera with clear picture if you need a camera in an area without WiFi. People should be aware that you have to sign up for and pay for a cellular data plan through the Cloudedge app.
