I do like this mascara, although there are good and not-so-good things about it. First, the good: - Very volumizing. Really makes your lashes look thick and full. - Easy to build coverage to your liking. - Smudge-proof- I can wear all day without getting the "raccoon eyes" that I've experienced, even with luxury brands. I have long lashes that are, unfortunately, fair in color so I like to use a dark mascara to highlight them. Most other mascaras will leave marks both above and below my eyes from my eyelashes touching those areas, but this mascara stays in place. Now for the "not-so-good": - While it's easy to build coverage, it tends to clump so a lash separator is needed to keep from having the spiky look - it's a bit difficult to remove, even with a good makeup remover - the brush is BIG. Very thick and full, which helps with coverage, but it's impossible to get into the inner and outer corners of your eye without getting it on your skin. If you think of it in terms of a paintbrush, this would be the wide brush that you use to fill in rather than the thin brush you'd use for detail/trim painting - it dries very quickly on your lashes, so you have to work quickly to build coverage and try to avoid clumping Overall, it's a decent mascara.

Clumpy and spidery. Removes nicely though. Cannot build up layers or try to curl lashes for touch ups. Honestly, the mascara we get at the drugstore from back in the day like great lash/Maybelline? Is way better than this!

This mascara is excellent! Nice long fibers to lengthen your lashes and thicken your lashes. It is also quite waterproof. This is the only one I buy now!

This is longgg, but for my friends out there with oily lids, sensitive teary eyes, and the desire for long, thick lashes without the fear of looking in the mirror at 1:00PM and seeing a raccoon staring back at you, BEAR WITH ME BECAUSE I CRACKED THE CODE. So I used to love L’Oréal Lash Tubes, but the last few that I’ve bought have been super clumpy and dried out after only using them a handful of times. :( I’ve been on the hunt for a similar mascara (one that adds volume and length while reliably smudge-proof and/or waterproof). After LOTS of trial and error, here’s what I landed on + links to the other products mentioned as well. 1.) Curl eyelashes with a regular curler 2.) Apply L’Oréal’ lash primer 3.) Follow with one coat of 4D Silk Fiber Lash Mascara 4.) Heated curler 5.) Apply second coat of mascara 6.) Heated curler 7.) When needed, use lash separator comb throughout, and apply primer and mascara in a zigzag back and forth motion As for the heated curler, it’s not a necessary buy—it works fine and adds more of a curl but nothing life changing. I have a few lashes in the outer corners of my eyes that grow downwards and often irritate my eyes that I can’t always fix with a regular curler. The heated curler is just more precise and def helps with that— but of course, be super careful when using it. Anyways, just buy the d*mn mascara, it's awesome. I've been using this mascara for 2 years. What I love best about this mascara is the wand and how it keeps your lashes from clumping and adds length to them. It doesn't smear or smudge. I wish it was waterproof but it comes off easily and doesn't leave a mess I have very fine eyelashes and this gets all of them and makes my eyelashes look thicker and longer. The mascara comes in a little suede pouch that protects it in your purse. Perfect!
