I installed this kit on a 2008 Club Car Precedent Electric IQ (48-Volt) https://a.co/d/0cUhiU8d The original Batteries died and it was only a few more bucks to do this conversion rather than buy 4 new Lead acid batteries. The original Batteries weigh in at 85 lbs. each! This one is 88 pounds. So, a big weight savings right off the bat! I had some questions on the install and after install issues and my emails were all answered in less than a day with helpful info that made it all easy. My electronic board had to be relocated and I found several YouTube videos that gave me ideas on how to do that, easy to do. The built in 12 volt DC output was a real plus. (No 48v to 12v converter needed!) Simply attached the red lead to the existing 12 volt line (blue wire in my cart that had been tapping off a single battery) and connected the black wire to the Negative of the battery and it all worked perfectly. The included battery charger mounted easily to the floor of the battery compartment, and I installed an AC Port Plug, replacing the existing charging port. NOTE, removing the stock charging port and the On Board Computer (OBC) requires a simple wiring bypass modification. Several You tube videos showing that simple procedure. https://a.co/d/0fQDY21V The touch screen monitor easily mounted to the dashboard and the supplied cable was more than long enough to route with the existing wire bundles under the floor mat. The monitor really gives you more info than you probably need but it is nice to have, turning the battery on and off via the touch screen is easy and convenient. The iPhone app connected easily and had all the same functions as the supplied touch screen monitor and is a great option. When all was said and done, I took the cart out to test drive it and it ran better than it ever had! When the old batteries were new, I generally saw 13 MPH on level ground, now I get 15-17mph, and hills are no issue. After about 30 minutes of driving, all the sudden it would not go over 9 mph. I had no idea what had happened so back to the company and the internet for help I went! After double checking all the connections for loose wires and corrosion, I decided to first try replacing the Motor Controller Throttle Sensor (MCOR), a high failure item in these carts. Unfortunately, that made no difference. https://a.co/d/0eCxjFXY The next favorite culprit for this specific issue, according to the interwebs, was the Speed Sensor. A quick 15 minute swap out with a new one and all was good! https://a.co/d/023U6ToO The prevailing opinion is these are old worn items and the sudden influx of really good power can push them to the breaking point, I recommend changing them both when doing the conversion, they are low cost and easy to change. (just my two cents) We are super happy now with our old carts performance and highly recommend this product!

I used this for my club car 48-volt system and immediately realized almost a 300-pound weight decrease due to the battery change. The battery and charger came as a complete kit, well packaged but a little short on directions. I managed to install it, and the battery wouldn't charge. Frustrated, I emailed the support site, and they responded the next day - they looked at my issue and sent out a new charger that same day! Although I did not talk to anyone, I am very pleased with the battery and how it improved my golf cart, and their quick response to my issue. I managed to install a small cooler in the old battery space! And the battery works great -- a big improvement!

I replaced lead acid batteries in a 5 year old golf that had been used to play golf 2 to 3 times a week the batteries were worn out I looked at Sam’s Club where I had always bought my batteries the were very expensive so some of other golfers had bought lithium batteries so I did I’m 82 and thought I would install myself but to heavy but lighter than 6 lead acid batteries so I paid a guy who works on carts he did a great job I’m so happy with my new battery charge is quick lighter Than 6 batteries more power I’m happy I get three rounds of golf I went crazy and played all day 3 rounds

Love the product. Great people to work with. Did not take near as long to get as I expected and was packed very well. I had one small issue with the plug connector on the back of the monitor where the plug was soldered to the PC board. Solder came loose. I contacted the service department and got a prompt reply from a superb service agent named Jack. He asked for a photo of the back of my monitor and with that he was able to get me a new monitor in very short order. Works great. I would have to say that this is absolutely the best service department that I have ever worked with. Great company. I would definitely recommend and would by from them again. Five out of five stars for sure.

Hi, So the battery was easy to install. is performing very well and the blue tooth app is easy to use so that rates a 5 star review. I do need some help though. The LED Battery Gauge is stuck showing 50% Standby. No individual cell info What do I need to fix this?

I was very impressed by the quality of the battery and the charger. Everything was fine with the order and I was able to swap the old heavy lead acid batteries for one that barely weighs more than one single lead acid battery. The power is strong and it even uses the regenerative braking system in the club car. When you are coasting down a incline the battery monitoring screen shows charging. It may not be a huge difference but it’s still cool. I used a vibratory cutter to remove the little fins that stick up near the middle of the precident club car. I just took the ond charge port off and replaced it with a regular plug for camping or really anything that you would need to just plug an extension cord into. I used the same vibration device to cut slots into the plastic tray to be able to use the strap that came with the battery. I mounted the battery on the passenger side of the cart. It fits perfectly and even has a small protrusion molded into the tray bottom that keeps the battery from slipping side to side. I also used zip ties to hold everything neatly inside of the battery area I will include pictures of the installation. I’m well pleased with everything. The battery will bluetooth to your phone and you can get exactly the same information on your phone as the screen. I like the fact that you can use the phone to switch off the charging port and the discharge port on your battery. This makes it much harder to steal your cart because the switch is integrated into the BMS on your battery inside of the sealed battery. Really cool feature.

Had a plethora of issues with Fedex not following delivery instructions and blatantly lying about delivery attempts being completed but we finally received our battery some 3 weeks later and install was straight forward if you have good working knowledge of how to wire electrical or are general a good wrench (no instructions present). Battery thus far has been good after an initial charge from 50 to 85%. Highly recommend this thus far..

Battery and charger appear very good. Install was easy. Charge went from 78% to 0% in 1/2 miles. Left me stranded. Hopefully faulty product and seller will send a replacement. Will update review afterwards.
