Great efficiency. I measured about 10-12 watt idle consumption, which is great, and about 90% efficient at a 900w load. I like the screen with the on off button as well. The problem with this unit is the fans. I don't understand why this is so hard for these inverter companies to get right. The fans are fairly loud, but the issue is that there is no fan ramp, it is either "turbines to speed" or off. If you're hovering around 700-900 watts the fan will kick on for literally one second, and then turn off for 5 and repeat. It's super annoying. Above 1100w they're on nonstop. If you have it in a dedicated compartment that deadens the sound it might not be a big deal for you but I just don't understand how difficult it is to spend a few extra dollars for quieter fans and a fan curve. It's not that expensive but it's also not the cheapest 2500W inverter out there. Ultimately it didn't work for my situation. I wanted to power a small mini-split in my bedroom through the night on battery. Thought a small efficient inverter would be a nice, quiet option. ... show more

Good solid inverter. I like the non-bonded ground & neutral, so I can easily implement my specific design. It runs my gas furnace without issue. The flame sensors can be very finicky about power quality and grounding. No problems here. I run about a 1kw load regularly with no issues. The 4-star is for the remote control. It reports 930w, when both actual DC in and AC out are around 720w. Useless for any real information. ... show more

I purchased the 48 volt 2500 Watt inverter after having a good experience with their 12 volt 1500 watt model. It worked, with occasional momentary power interruptions, for about two months. The power interruptions are becoming more frequent. The supply voltage is constantly in the 54-58 volt range, Renogy charge controller and four 12 volt batteries. This unit didn’t include the connection cables, included with the 1500 watt unit and supposedly included with this one. They may have sent me a returned inverter. I wasn’t able to find contact information for the seller or warranty information. Update, customer service reached out regarding my issue with the inverter. They voluntarily sent me a new inverter, with cables, that operates properly. ... show more

The fans cycling on/off constantly, even under very moderate load is enough that I would not purchase this again. Maybe the Manufacturer can offer a solution, if so I will change my rating.
