Good solid inverter. I like the non-bonded ground & neutral, so I can easily implement my specific design. It runs my gas furnace without issue. The flame sensors can be very finicky about power quality and grounding. No problems here. I run about a 1kw load regularly with no issues. The 4-star is for the remote control. It reports 930w, when both actual DC in and AC out are around 720w. Useless for any real information. ... show more

The inverter performs well when battery levels are sufficient, but it fails to restart automatically after the batteries drain too low and are recharged. This is an issue for me, as it requires me to turn it back on after a few cloudy days. If your batteries consistently maintain adequate power, this may not be a problem, but I’d prefer an inverter that automatically restarts once battery power is restored. Been using this to run air conditioners, an air fryer, a microwave, and my entertainment center (not at the same time, but 2500 watts is enough headroom to juggle appliances to get what I need done). I have an offgrid solar setup that includes a 48 volt lifepo4 100ah battery bank, a Victron 150-45 solar charge controller, and a 2000 watt solar array, plus this unit to utilize the power. It runs to spec and service from the company is excellent when you need product support. My first inverter from them needed a little voltage adjustment a couple months into its use, but their product support was fast and helpful. I have saved 100 dollars a month on average from having a small DIY solar system, and this unit has been the driving force for using my harvested electricity. I love the display that it comes with. I purchased the 48 volt 2500 Watt inverter after having a good experience with their 12 volt 1500 watt model. It worked, with occasional momentary power interruptions, for about two months. The power interruptions are becoming more frequent. The supply voltage is constantly in the 54-58 volt range, Renogy charge controller and four 12 volt batteries. This unit didn’t include the connection cables, included with the 1500 watt unit and supposedly included with this one. They may have sent me a returned inverter. I wasn’t able to find contact information for the seller or warranty information. ... show more

I wasted most of the day trying to get this to work. The remote kept giving a low voltage error; however, my meter told me that it had full voltage from the batteries. I so wanted this to work. I was issued a full refund when I returned it.
