I bought a 116 year old house recently and as the spring thaw started, found out it seeps water through the stone foundation in the basement. I bought this dehumidifier to help my sump pump dry things out. I had my doubts seeing its compact size but within 2-3 days my floor was nearly completely dry. I love being able to drain it right into the sump pit so I don't have to empty the reservoir, and it can just keep running. The unit is super quiet and I think works very well for the price. It's also nice it came with a 3-year warranty without paying extra.

This is smaller than I wanted for my garage and the tank is very small. I do not have a way to drain it with the hose. So I got a big 8ne for the garage and use this smaller on in my bathroom. It is perfect size for it. Really pulls the moisture out of the air and very quiet. Also they gave me an extra 3 year warranty. Customer service was very responsive to a problem I had.

I just have to say that the first one that we received did not work… It was the fault of the shipper! I can only tell you that they have the best customer service I have ever seen. They sent us a replacement, made it in a timely manner and it works great. I only wish that all of Amazon's merchants had customer service that was as good as this!

I really like the modern design of this dehumidifer and the fact that there's a huge number placement in the front so that I can view the levels from afar. Multiple modes, highest mode has strong air flow which is great to see. I haven't had heavy humidity levels just yet but from what I've seen so far, it works a lot better than other models that I have. Another plus is that the container has it's own built in handle! Might not seem like a big deal but if you ever dealt with cheaper models... spillage is bound to happen and this helps prevent that by quite a lot. Like most of these, it comes with a hose should you prefer to go that route. Came well packaged, has handles on the side and feels sturdy. One other big thing to note is that the wheels are very smooth to roll around. I've had two other dehumidifers where it was quite a pain to move because the wheels weren't good quality or jammed up, so having this be pushed effortless is a big plus. Happy with the purchase, can't wait to see what it can do in the rainy season!

This unit was very easy to set up in my basement. I did let it sit upright for a day unplugged. It dropped the humidity by 12% in a few hours. It is very quiet and competively priced.

I bought this to replace a similarly rated one that has worn out. (4000 sq ft, whole basement....). I unboxed this and was immediately wary of its ability to dehumidify my basement. This one is less than half the physical size of the one it's replacing. I let it stand upright, as instructed, for 24 hours, to allow oil to drain back where it is supposed to be. Then ran it for 48 hours. It lowered humidity from 69% to 66%. It had to be emptied 6 times. Its tiny water tank would not allow it to run all night. So I returned it. It seems like it would be fine for a room, but whole house it isn't.

Update: About 2 weeks after arrival, the second one malfunctioned. Running continuously, with little to know water collection and cycling off/on in 30 to 45 second intervals. Let it sit 24 hours before plugging in. Tried resetting. Customer support said it may be a freon leak. Returning. First one still works, but Im concerned about it's longevity now. So far, so good! Consistently reports humidity across multiple zones in my home. Placed it in my bathroom (connected to the primary bedroom and walk-in closet). Within 1.5 hours, the humidity dropped 7%, and the tank was about 1/4 full. This small but mighty dehumidifier did in less than 2 hours what a different brand didn’t come close to doing in a 30-hour test run. I can smell and feel the difference. It will be permanently placed there, but I wanted to try it in a more open area, so I placed it near the kitchen island. I have an open floor plan, and my smart fridge recently alerted me to high humidity around the appliance. In 2 hours, the tank is 1/6 full and dropped 3% in humidity. I just ordered a second to permanently use in this area. The display is intuitive/easy to cycle through settings, and the design is sleek. I prefer the fan at the top versus on the sides, like the other brand. This gives me more options for placement. The tank is small, so I’m hoping the auto shut-off works well. It’s not as quiet as I hoped, but that’s a small price to pay considering my locale’s climate and need for dehumidifying support.
