I tried a few alternatives before spending the $$ to purchase these bulbs ... and don't do that, just skip to these. These are a bit pricier, but they work, they don't get overwhelmed by the oven's heat, they continue to work, and are highly recommended. Regular light bulbs can't handle 500+ F temps. We're trying to transition to LED bulbs everywhere but couldn't find a LED oven bulb. This is the old kind, but oh well, how often do you turn on the oven light? This brand seems to be good quality, installed easily and is working fine

Pretty simple review here. It is a lightbulb, it comes in a two pack, it goes in my oven, it works. I did take the time to wipe off any finger prints before putting the globe back on. Don't know if it will affect it like halogen bulbs, but I didn't want to risk getting a hotspot.
