I ordered these brushes because of the variety of uses. I like to paint mostly with acrylics and watercolors. I dont do oils but thought I could still use them all regardless. I'm very happy with my purchase for the price especially. I've read many reviews about how the brushes were stiff and couldn't be used. Some said they felt like they had glue on them. They are sealed with some sort of covering but I believe that's to keep them from spreading and losing their shape. I placed them in warm water with a little soap to clean away the seal. The seal washed off and are all soft, flexible and ready for use. I hope this helps solve some of the problems others are having and feel the brushes couldn't be used. ... show more

It felt like there was glue or something on the bristles that made it hard, so they couldn't use the brush to paint. Although there were a lot of them in the package. Perfect brushes for the small detail jobs I do at work. I didn’t need the best quality bc I’ll just be throwing them away after each use. The different sizes helped out a lot.
