Running charter fishing in Key West, we punish motors daily. This 196CC beast pushed our 14ft skiff loaded with 800lbs catch through 4ft swells without missing a beat. The triple-sealed driveshaft resisted barnacle growth (our last motor died from this in 3 months!), and the air-cooled design prevented overheating during 8hr tuna chases in 95°F heat. TCI ignition starts first pull every dawn – critical when fish are biting. After 6 months of salt spray abuse, the sacrificial anode shows minimal corrosion.
