OK, so I've bought every ladder known to man, including the Little Giant - because the LADY said it was super light, & easy enough for her to carry around at will. What a LIE! Even my husband wouldn't use it, because it was SOO Heavy, & we just kept buying ladders. I've been painting a lot recently, & needed a ladder for inside, not the big ones for out door work, & my little 2-step ladder wasn't getting me up high enough. I'm getting old, so balance is becoming an issue, so this one seemed ideal to me, with the top bar for balance, even when you're on the top step. WHAT A GODSEND! I LOVE this ladder. Pros: * Light enough for ME to carry around - without any help! * Strong enough to support me, Plus whatever I'm carrying. (330 lbs capacity) * Paint & Tool shelf! THIS is the reason I was looking at it! GREAT shelf! * 4 steps - ALL Are wide, so your feet don't kill you on any step - even barefoot! * Balance grab bar. At my age, I'm not so steady anymore, & that grab bar is great. * Angled Padded feet. They put rubber feet on, & remembered the feet aren't flat in use. * Folds up nearly flat, so it doesn't take up much room. Very nicely designed. Cons: * The last half inch of opening it up is stiff on mine. I have to step on it, to get it fully engaged. Hoping that will ease up over time. * The initial packing was very nicely done, except they didn't mention the shelf unit wasn't attached. When I cut the zip ties holding it in place, it dropped 3 feet onto a hard wood floor. Not cool. Just be aware that the zip ties are all that's holding those 2 pieces in place, and get ready to catch, or open it on a rug, so you don't dent them, or your flooring. Otherwise, I find this to be the best ladder I've ever owned, & I'm delighted to have it. Only wish I'd had it for the last 40 years. Kudos to the designers. Well done!

I am so glad I ordered this stepstool! It holds up to 500 lbs. even though I didn't need that weight limit, but figured it had to be sturdy to hold that amount of weight! I love that it is very sturdy and does not move at all while standing on it. It folds easily and fits right inside my coat closet near my kitchen so it is handy to the whole house. I love that it is easy to open and I know it will not shift on me whatsoever. I have been wanting to wash down the fronts of my kitchen cabinets but my other step stool was kind of flimsy. I could not wait for this one to arrive. The very next day I washed down my kitchen cabinets and was thrilled I did not have to worry about it moving whatsoever the whole time unless I picked it up to move it over to the next row of cabinets. I did not need anyone to help hold it while I was on it. This is the only two step, step stool I will ever need. I highly recommend it to others who are wary of their current step stool even though they don't need one that holds 500 lbs. you will love that it is light weight but extremely sturdy and easy to open and fold and takes up very little space in your closet! Don't buy any other stool if you need a 2 step stool!!! This is the one and only you will ever need!!! It is well worth every penny! You get what yoy pay for and found this was not much more than the flimsy ones!!!

I’ve got a two step ladder which is ok but this ladder affords safety at greater heights. The steps are wide, so much safer than the skinny steps on regular ladder. The top hand rail has padding. As a nearly 70 year old granny, I can say this ladder is a must have. Price was great, well worth it. Recommend

Everything about this ladder is designed for SAFETY & EASE of use! In addition to thoughtfully planned out safety features (and there are many) the comfort & stability of the ample size steps which are rubberized & non-skid add to the solidity of this ladder from the first stair to the last. In addition, the attached utility tray is equipped with pre-formed indented spaces specifically designed to accommodate misc work related items for ease of access and to keep them organized. All that and more makes this a most sound choice for a safe utilitarian indoors or small jobs outside step ladder. I purchased mine mainly to use for when I frequently replace our main air conditioner filter which is located in the ceiling. I’m so pleased with my choice as now there is no more fear or imbalance while climbing up to work overhead in the ceiling due to the stability and solidity of this ladder. It is comparatively light weight at 18.5 pounds and collapses to fold flat allowing me to slide & store it in between my sofa and the wall behind it, which incidentally, is in close proximity to the overhead access to the AC filter. No more lugging tall, cumbersome & scary step ladders from the garage for me! I could not be more satisfied or pleased than I am with my choice of the HB Tower 4 step folding step ladder! Period! You will be too!
