KEYMOX 4-Port USB 3 0 Hub, Supported Systems: Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP Max OSx 10.6-10.12 or later Linux 2.6.14 or Later Compatibility: The USB ports are intended for data transfer only but does not support charging. 2.4 GHz wireless devices (such as wireless keyboards and mice) and some USB 3.0 devices may not be supported, or may not work in close proximity to a hub or other USB 3.0 device. For a stable connection, avoid connecting devices that exceed a total of 900 mA. Devices are usually rated as follows: Mouse 100 mA USB Flash Drive 100 mA Camera 300 mA Keyboard 500 mA External Hard Drive 900 mA The hub supports a maximum of 2 hard drives, but for best performance, the power demand of connected devices shouldn’t exceed the total USB output of 5V 0.9A. Devices with high power demand such as Apple USB SuperDrive shouldn’t be connected to the hub.

I got this because I had to switch out a hub for my gamepads. The hub I had, had on off switches which are apparently not recognized in Linux. This worked right out the box and did as advertised. If I need another hub, I will definitely get this one if it is available.

Quality enough to split my USB 😆 This is a hub that can handle a bit of power. Not a ton, but some. There's an extra micro USB in port on the back. If you're having a problem with all of the devices plugged in, give that a try. Not necessary for basic function though.

This 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub worked perfectly. No complaints. I put wireless mouse/keyboard USB in top so I never forget it. Also run headsets and camera at same time. I work hybrid so I need to move it all back and forth and this fits my needs well.

I'm have a laptop which I have to use at two locations. Connecting and disconnecting the Ethernet cable is a pain; it's a very thin HP and the Ethernet port actually has a spring-loaded hinge, which frequently doesn't want to let go of the cable. Additionally, I have a wired keyboard and mouse at each location. I needed a small, cheap, mini-docking station, including Ethernet connectivity, which I can leave at each location and simply connect to power and USB and get everything I need. For that purpose, it works. I'm not seeing any issues overheating but I'm only running 100 Mbit Ethernet, not Gbit. I've only been using them for a few weeks so I can't speak to how reliable they are, long-term. All of them worked out of the box, though. And this Windows 10-based laptop didn't need me to explicitly install any drivers for this to work. It took about 30 seconds for the laptop to figure out what all was connected, figure out the driver situation and ... everything worked. ... show more
