The first card arrived with no low profile bracket and I could not use. Had to return and order another. The second card arrived next day with all parts expected. Installed in Dell slim PC running OPNsense and this was recognized right out of the box. I am using both ports as WAN and LAN and the card works fantastically. Would buy again.

I purchased this card because an earlier one was not recognized by my system (possibly defective, possibly just not readily compatible) and was rewarded with an easy installation that worked as intended immediately. Having purchased the 2.5 gbe switch earlier to accommodate my other machines that have 2.5 gbe adapters built in in order speed file backup and media transfer, I quickly was able to test and see that the actual transfer rate to/from the machine I installed this card in was in excess of 2.4 gb/sec. The plug-and-play compatibility with my Linux OS was just what I was looking for.

I bought this card as it is compatible with VMWare ESXi 7. I installed the card and was able to install ESXi without a hitch. Everything is stable and works well. I am not running anything mission critical just a home lab for learning purposes. I am not sure whether or not this card will work with ESXi 8 as I haven't tested. I am glad this card was inexpensive and works with what I need. I would buy it again.

I installed the card into a PCIe 1x slot next to my video card - big mistake. The T600 video card must have not left any bandwidth or address space on the bus, so the entire PC bricked, no sign of life and no response to the power button. I thought I finally overloaded the 300W power supply, but thankfully I checked the PS out of the PC, and it worked. Taking all the expansion cards out, removing the BIOS battery and resetting the BIOS fixed the contention, and I was able to boot the PC and add cards back in one at a time. Once on its own, non-shared PCIe slot the card performed flawlessly. I haven't tested it to full bandwidth limit but it is maintaining 60 Mbps 24/7 on one port, while the other is used for LAN activities and shows no sign of being slow. Windows 10 didn't need any additional drivers. So far is has been solid, so I recommend it.

I installed this NIC adapter and installed drivers without problems. The card functioned as advertised in all ways except one: when I tried to put my Win 11 Pro PC in sleep mode, it would shut everything down, but then within seconds my computer would restart. I worked for several hours trying every trick I knew in BIOS settings, advanced PC power settings, and adapter settings. Since my computer has been working fine for years using sleep mode daily, I strongly suspected that my card was either a one-off defective unit or there could be a design flaw for all circuit boards from this manufacturer. I suspect the former since no one else has reported this problem. A replacement dual port 2.5G PCIe card of the same chipset and specs from a different manufacturer is now working fine in my PC - particularly regarding sleep mode. Update: to the manufacturer's credit, they have been working with me diligently to resolve my issue. They sent me a new card. Unfortunately, my particular Asustek motherboard with an Intel Z590 chipset seems to be incompatible. This could be just an issue with a particular motherboard chipset. When I have time, I will install the card in another computer I have to see if the problem is still there. I will update this review if the problem goes away. Update 2: I tried this adapter in a different computer I have running Windows 10 Pro and having an AMD B550 chipset in an Asustek TUF Gaming B550-Pro motherboard. This motherboard comes with an onboard 1 x Realtek RTL-8125B 2.5Gbe port. This is the same ethernet chipset family as this adapter. Unfortunately the problem of not staying in sleep mode is still there. If a prospective buyer does not utilize or have a need for sleep mode, then this card should work just fine for them.

I recently switched to 2 gig fiber internet but my motherboard only has a 1 gig built in. Bought this with the hopes of setting up a lan aggregation. Unfortunately Microsoft removed this ability with a windows update a couple years back. So this didn't do what I need it to, but that's not the units fault. Seems to be a quality built unit and windows recognized it right away.
