  • Worked great!
Style: Blue
I was skeptical, but these worked way better than I thought they would! Recommended

  • Great looking grout lines
Style: Blue
Really nice clean caulk lines with these tools. Makes caulking a tub a breeze and will give you a better/cleaner looking line of caulk than using your finger. I have noticed that after using a couple times the rubber seems to be wearing down/peeling a little bit for such a low price it’s cheap to replace ... show more

  • Convenient and Effective Caulking Tools
Style: Blue
This tool set has been a game-changer for my caulking projects in the kitchen and bathroom. These tools are incredibly easy to use and make achieving a professional-looking finish much simpler. The set includes a variety of tools for different tasks, from applying sealant to removing old caulk and smoothing out new lines. One of the things I appreciate most is the reusability of these tools. Made from durable silicone, they are easy to clean and can be used multiple times without losing their effectiveness. The tools fit comfortably in hand and provide excellent control, making it easy to achieve a neat and even bead of caulk. The only minor downside is that it takes a bit of practice to get the technique just right, especially if you're new to caulking. However, once you get the hang of it, these tools make the job much faster and cleaner than using your finger or a makeshift tool. I am sure this is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to improve their caulking skills. They are versatile, durable, and significantly enhance the quality of the finished work. Highly recommended for both DIYers and professionals. ... show more

  • Does the job
Style: Blue
I'm one of those people that have always used my fingers in the past for smoothing out caulk. Similar to most non-professionals, the results are always satisfactory, but not as nice as I would like. So this time before recaulking a shower, I started watching YouTube video as a refresher. I noticed the use of the 'silicon caulking tools' and liked the results that they appeared to be getting. The one that I wanted to get is the Fugi kit, but the cost was not justifiable for a single job. The kit that I first settle on was the one that I thought would give me the most options which was the 'Hotop 4 Pieces Caulk Tool Kit'. The mistake with this one is that none of the angles are 90 degrees. I'm sure that a more experienced person may have been able to work with these tools, but I wanted something a little more foolproof by having pieces with 90 degree angles that I just needed to drag along the joint. This product was my next purchase. This provided me with the 90 degree angles that I wanted and also the necessary joint sizes (i.e., 10, 8, 5). The pieces provided me with nice clean joints. I had to rework a few, but that is no problem as long as you finish before the caulking starts to set up. Much better result compared to using my finger. Also the silicon tools were easy to wipe off between strokes. I used a new tube of the GE non-paintable 100% Silicon 2+ caulk which was smooth enough that I did not have any trouble with marks from dragging the tool. The 90 degree angles help reduce the amount of cleanup that you will have around the joint. The only potential negative that I can think of is the long term durability of the silicon edges of the tools that will wear with use. However for my single job, they were perfect and well worth the $6. Good Luck! ... show more

  • Useful for some applications.
Style: Blue
I would probably not buy this again. While the silicone scrapers work, many are too large in my opinion to use in most applications. The bead is too large. The scraper did work very well in removing old caulk however.

  • Works well
Style: Blue
I used these to re-seal a large aquarium. These are a must. %100 silicone is pretty tough to work with, but these tools help a lot. Cheap and effective.

It’s fine, good enough for the price. Didn’t work *that* well for me, but that’s more about this old rental with weird fixtures than the set. Comparable to the plastic ones at your local hardware store, but a better price.

  • I'm a pro and use these every day
Style: Blue
My customers are blown away by the perfect caulk lines I can get using this set. I only use 100% silicone, not the sanded acrylic type for color match applications. Or paintable caulk when required. You'll know its 100% silicone because it costs around $14 a tube for color matched. Pro Tips: Toss the black scraper out, its useless to remove caulk. Use a utility knife and single edge razor scraper. Take your time and remove every bit of old caulk. Slightly overfill the caulk joint and press the correct sized applicator firmly against the 2 surfaces. Keep paper towels close by and stop frequently to wipe the excess off the tool to prevent it overflowing around the edges and making a big mess. Do small sections at a time. After you're done use a spray bottle with water and a few drops of dawn to mist down the caulk (100% silicone only) and gently smooth over with your finger. Only do this once you've completed an entire section. If you get the soapy water in an area you haven't applied the caulk to yet, it won't stick. ... show more
