I've been using this ultrasonic insect repellent set both in my home and garage, and after using it for a while, the overall experience has been much better than I initially expected. Before, I'd occasionally see small cockroaches or spiders in my house, especially in the kitchen and pantry not a lot, but still quite annoying. This one is plug and play; no setup or refills are needed, which is very convenient for me. Following the instructions, I plugged one into each of the different spaces, and I could definitely feel a significant reduction in active insects. The corners where they used to be were much quieter. Most importantly, it's completely odorless and silent, so my daily routine isn't disrupted at all, and I can use it safely even with pets. I'm also very satisfied with its low power consumption; it doesn't feel like a burden even when left plugged in for extended periods. Its understated design doesn't detract from the overall feel of the room. While it's not the kind of product that instantly eliminates pests, I find it very practical as a long term supplementary insect control method, and it's much more worry free than traditional methods.
