I did! I needed one. I had an old 8mm Movie film previewer/splicer that worked fine back in the early 1970's... but not so much after this bulb blew-out years ago. I hadn't used it in probably 40 years, but now that I'm going through all of my old movies taken when I was young ~ with things to do and a family to watch grow. So, now I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff that the kids don't want (or even know how to use)! I needed one bulb, which worked well. But I got four in the pack and it all was cheap with free shipping as well! I ended up throwing all the film out along with the film viewer. Apparently, I will never be a Spielberg, Tarantino, or Scorsese... That said, the bulb worked well, the shipping was fast, and the seller's price was good, and boxed it well. All is good... well except now I feel bad about having to toss those perfectly good bulbs out... for me, it's just not worth the shipping costs to sell them. And I'm ok with it all... ... show more

Most of my lava lamps need at least 40watts to get the lava to flow. Anything less than this will melt the wax but is does not flow. Brightness is not important instead the heating is in order to melt the wax and get it to flow is important thus 40watts are needed. Not easy to find 40 watt bulbs that fit standard lava lamps. These fit into most of the old lava lamps. Would like to find some 45watt bulbs like these maybe some 50watt bulbs as well. Higher watts would work even better in some of the older lava lamps that now 40watts is not quite enough to cause the wax to flow. ... show more

I don’t know what much more to say aside from they work, they fit, and they haven’t broken yet or arrived broken either. The box with the Styrofoam keeps them from breaking and you can keep them in there while you have the bulbs stored.
