Lids do do seal. There is no gasket on the lids. Other food safe lids are extremely difficult to close on this bucket. Can't store honey in these buckets

You probably couldn't do better buying the parts from Home Depot. This packet comes with a pre drilled hole for the spigot and a large free flowing spigot for honey. We don't use it for honey because we don't have bees, We use it for storing water that we have filtered for drinking. It holds the water just fine and does not leak. The stricken works as it ought to and I can see how it would work even better with honey. This is a good quality food grade bucket.

This 2-pack of honey buckets is an okay deal. The buckets are soft, but they're durable. The handle is comfortable when carrying full buckets, and the spout hasn't leaked thus far. These are easy to use and easy to clean. I dropped one star because of the current price. You could find similar buckets that aren't as soft and of thicker material for a bit of a lower price.
