  • Nice mini table saw
Great compact saw for my husband's little projects. He does dioramas. Great for storing, easy to assemble and use. It has enough power for our intended use. Super value for the money. Packaged well and shipped super quick.

  • Should be sold and marketed as a 'hobbiest" tool. Not for general use!
This unit arrived new and nicely packaged. Its heavy but its also very small. I can see this being a great tool for someone who works with small wood peices and very light wood such as balsa wood. Even small pieces of hard oak may be a challenge for it to cut through. At least with the included blade. It has a nice thick cord and the plane table top is nicely cast aluminum. Alhough its not meant to adjust the height, you can slightly if you support the other end of the table the same hight over the motor. So, maybe a shim or wood piece. So, do not purchase this if your working on regular projects or anyting thicker than maybe 3/8. I intended to use it to rip wood floor planks that were not more than 3/8 but it clearly could barely do the job going very slow and was locking up the motor to the point is started to smoke. I stopped after 1 piece and decided to return. Overall, great product for a very small percentage of people using it for small projects with soft wood and are careful to use it without the blade guard. I gave it one star becuase its sold without the disclaimer that its for super light duty work. The title suggest you can use it for other needs. ... show more

  • 4 inch table saw
It worked for what I needed but it's not very powerful. A lot smaller than I expected. Works for very small projects.

  • Table saw
Perfect little tool for small projects. Works great!

  • Get a real table saw.
It cost around 100$. Go ahead and spend the money on something that you can cut more than a half an inch. Unless you have a very specific cutting need. This is insufficient. It only cuts a rather thin height of wood. (About a half an inch). It does not allow any angulation of the blade. The motor is fast in rpm but has weak torque and frequently bogs down on hard wood. Spend a little more. Get the better features. ... show more

  • Too hazardous for most users. No adjustments typical for table saws.
This is not a miniature table saw. Yes, there is a table. Yes, there is a 4" table saw in a slot through the table. However, there is no real depth adjustment that can be used while keeping the table level. There is only a slotted connection to one of the three table supports. You can tighten that bolt with the table elevated, but it then has no support contact elsewhere. It is difficult to do this and maintain a level table. The stability of the adjustment depends on how hard you crank the bolt. Meanwhile, cranking on that bolt twists the table, making it unlevel. There is no cut angle adjustment at all. Worst of all, the entire tool is very top-heavy, and prone to tipping over in the direction of blade rotation. I mounted mine on a rectangle of plywood, effectively broadening the legs that it stands on. I did this because I considered this saw hazardous to use without it. Mine arrived with grooves machined into the table, and one of those grooves had rough edges. I had to file it smooth before I could build a sled for the table. A sled is needed to provide a crude depth of cut adjustment, and to make square cuts. There is no real fence provided. There is a so-called "guide," but it has no straight surface to direct wood along, and no width of cut adjustability. The slots in the table are plumb sided, not T-slots. This provides no reasonable way to clamp the workpiece down. If you have the ability to cast and machine a new bae and table, and to add guide-rods and a threaded-rod for depth adjustement, then you could buy this for the motor and arbor. By the way, the motor is brushed DC, running directly of a full-bridge rectifier across the mains. Other than the SPST switch, that is the sum total of electronic components in this tool. The switch is located unergonomically, in a spot that requires putting your hand under the edge of the table. If you are cutting a piece that overhangs, this leaves you groping around for the switch. Overall, this is a questionable addition to any workbench. By building an elaborate sled, I have made it work for a few purposes, but it brings a lot less to the table than I had hoped for. The level of hazard associated with this saw is much too high unless you make a new base to bolt it to. It is actually quite ridiculous the way it arrives built. ... show more

  • peice of junk
this saw runs on 12volt not on 110 as advertizes. will not cut 1/8 " plywood with out stalling. Save you money and buy a better saw than this one. Buyer beware PS. I only gave it 1 star because it did arrive on time
