The platform appears to be very well constructed. The directions or easy enough to follow, It took a good 2+ hours to completely assemble it. After completion, it is very solid. The 12” height is perfect for me, easy to get in and out of bed and plenty of room underneath her storage. The only problem I encountered was attaching the headboard to the bed frame. I had to drill some new holes in the headboard in order to attach it. I’ve been sleeping in the bed for the past week and find it quiet and comfortable. I was certainly glad to be able to get rid of the boxspring. The support of the mattress with all of the crossbars is perfect Overall I have to say that I’m very pleased with my purchase.

This is actually seems to be a great product! My 20yr old bed is beautiful but the box springs and mattress are (sort of) held up by slats that have not aged well and are worn down and even reinforcing them isn’t working anymore and one corner of my mattress will periodically just crash onto the floor. Funny in the movies, less so in real life. So what I was hoping for was a very, very sturdy platform that could essentially fit inside the frame (in place of the slats) and not be visible. It worked! This wasn’t terribly difficult to put together (I did it alone which was occasionally a little tricky but only with trying it get the platform inside the frame of the bed and maneuvering the mattress and box springs). The picture instructions are clear and came with the tool required. It miraculously does fit inside the bedframe and feels extremely sturdy once it was all tightened up and in place. It feels very solid, I truly see this lasting for many, many years. I’m overjoyed that now my lovely bed is not going to fall down at random. A nice extra that I didn’t consider is that this comes with rubber “feet” so won’t cause dig in and cause damage to the floor over time.

Now this frame I am happy with. All metal no wood.You can use the bed without any noise whatsoever so ever. The instuctions were very well written and had very good visual instructions. The hardware was well displayed as to what it was and where it was to be used. The finish was very evenly applied with no gaps, or runs.The unit took me 45 mins to assembly. Unit came very well packed.They even included a few extra plastic parts that would get the most use for the future, Nice touch.
