    • Great product marred by poor control design
I love the design of this and physically it is up to Lego's usual excellent standards. However this uses the Technic+ control scheme, which is similar to powered up, which is different than power functions. I haven't figured out how to use the powered up physical controller but the powered up app seems to sort of work but requires a lot of customization. The technic+ software works but isn't available on the amazon marketplace so can't be installed on amazon tablets. It all equals a pain in the ass for a dad that just wants to distract his kid for a couple of hours. ... show more

Can't express how magical this machine is. It's only 374 pieces but felt like 1300. The 2 L-motors and c+ control Hub alone make this Buggy worth the money. The tires are new & beautiful & stick to the road. Love the looks along with the New pieces and colors. I have a 100 foot driveway and can easily control this thing at that distance, don't know how far away it's max-range is. Also, the fast speed and steering are just fantastic. At $130 Lego has hit a home run! Lots of folks can't afford more expensive sets so for you this is the one! ... show more

Bought it for my daughter and after I spent a day helping her making sure she did all the work and I just help it might take 2 or 3 days for her but she loves it.

    • Final product is walking slow. Looks cool, but slow.
Not a bad little car. Takes a bit to assemble and has a differential and the parts for front suspension and steering. Some details for teaching. Final product is just not quick. No reason to have shocks if it won’t go fast enough to hit a ramp! App is simple.

Fun putting it together (had a couple technical issues but it worked out). Easy to learn how to use the app to control the car and have had a blast with it.
