Pro tip, the cold air does not travel far, so place a strong fan next to it and the cold air will blow amazingly. No, its not the larger fan making it colder. The larger fan blows hot hot air by itself bc of the hot room, trust i know the difference lol.     • Waste of money
I bought this to use in a small bedroom. I added ice packs at the top and bottom along with cold water. The water just makes the room humid, the fan isn’t very powerful. Not worth the money.

    • It works and it’s quiet!
I’m so impressed. My kitchen is always hot in the summer. I’ve tried fans and stuff but usually they are loud and just push the hot air around. On the lowest setting this thing is super quiet and does an excellent job of lowering the temperature! I’d buy it again!

    • Confused by the 5 star reviews or is it just my unit?
Confused, all the 5 star reviews but mine wont cool unless I dump a lot of ice in it but the room only drops a few degrees. The ice packs that come with the unit are almost useless. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or my unit is faulty. I see the water pumping to the top, I've added a large ice pack in the bottom, dumped trays of ice cubes in the top. Used a temp gun to monitor and it will come down some degrees but once the ice melts the temp just isn't dropping. I'm using the unit in a small upstairs room and even with it running, 70 degrees outside, the room is still 80. I'm not giving up on it yet it could be something I'm missing. I run it on cooling and regular mode. Tried all the speeds. ... show more

    • It's not worth the money in my opinion
I've seen really good reviews about this. Unfortunately, it's not great in my experience. It's currently 36 f outside and my room is 78 f with this running on high. When it's daytime in the spring, it gets up to 58 f outside. My room gets to 85. So it kinda helps. But it makes the humidity so high it's worse. I have ice water in the reservoir and it still doesn't cool my 150 square ft room. I have to open my door to actually cool my room with outside air. Pros, it moves air and slightly helps. Cons, it doesn't help enough to make it worth the money. Also, the humidity is extremely high in my room. I live in a very low humidity state. ... show more

Got this today very happy with the noise level and cooling . I wish it had better instructions and pictures. It would be great if it had a video with detailed instructions . Don’t forget to pull the pump & tube down . The pump has two release levers you turn to release into the tank. You can add water to the top tank and add ice packs. The bottom tank fills with a good amount of water. It cooled my room very quickly . I’m hoping to save some money on air conditioning this summer . By not cooling the entire house. This wotkes very well. Felt the cool air in a reasonable time. Helpd to use ice cubes or small block of ice or mikk carton of frozen water works well also.
